  1. With four Different powders & three different Primers <thumbsup> Now, if my Chrono. will not eat 9 volt batt. every shot , I'll have data .
  2. Kinda LOQUACIOUS read <laughs> Good you got your cash back , still makes me wonder why they or he , just didn't send you a new Trigger group to begin with . <dontknow> . I don't see anyone else having your problem with this trigger or is there ?
  3. Gun sales were up & if you want a good laugh , watch the CNBC fools . http://finance.yahoo.com/news/gun-shares-shoot-higher-background-185907857.html
  4. I was astonished as you were , I have never heard of a problem with PMags , but I don't get out all that much any more , like I used to . I think that info would be something that would be all over the place , like that four letter company you like so much .
  5. New Bullets , can't wait to play with them . The 155 gr. Nosler's are nice , the A Max's have a distinct taper , with a quick transition to the Bullet diameter. Unlike the Nosler's that flow from tip to Bullet diameter . This will be interesting AMax 0.435 BC Nosler 0.450 BC
  6. Target photo's , just got around to them . I see that 40 gr. of Tac looks like it will work fine , same charge wt. as the WC 846 . I picked up more batteries for my Chrono today ,so I can see if I can get some results with both rifles . I got my 155gr. bullets in today to play with also . # 1 is the 40gr. WC846 168gr. SMK ,comparison load that & warm up shots. I knew they shot good out of this 20" Criterion bbl. # 2 is 41 gr. Tac with the last of my 168 gr. Mil/LE bullets ,I can't seem get good results with them & for the price of fifty , I'm glad . # 3 is 40 gr. Tac with Hornady 168 Match , There is three shots there . # 4 is 40.5 gr. Tac with Hornady 168 gr. Match , it must be me or there is that much difference with 0.5 gr. of Tac. <dontknow> # 6 is 40 gr. Tac & 170 gr. match bullet that I got from a guy almost twenty years ago , I had 1000 , now I have about fifty left , I'm not sure who made them , but they shoot really well in both bbl's . here is the Bullet next to a Barnes 168 gr. LE bullet. its like a stepped boat tail . # 7 is the same 170 gr. Bullet with 41 gr. of Tac. To me this Tac is about the same as the WC 846 , all I have to do is get some good Chrono results to compare . I now have 155 gr. Nosler Match & Hornady 155 gr. A Max to set up for .
  7. I thought I read that Matrix was making Ruger's Receivers & if so , do they have the same spec's as far as the pins ? If they do have the same spec's , what fits the Matrix Receivers ?
  8. And I think I fixed it to work & if a certain co. had not gone belly up & took my money ( I did get my $$ back from the CC co. ) for the barrel I ordered , we would know if my fix worked . I never give up , never Surender. <munch> We all knew it wasn't mag. any way <thumbsup>
  9. Good read , but I think most know , when you shoot out that far you need a scope that cost at least twice as much of what your rifle is worth <lmao>
  10. Doesn't seem like much of a Mag follower tab on the Areo BC. I like the more is better with the Armalite.
  11. What ,Beer ? Or their product ?
  12. IMO ,If its a hand lapped Match barrel , it shouldn't need any break in , only seasoning , which requires a certain round count :auto: .
  13. I have a couple 25 rounders & all my 20's work just fine also .
  14. Welcome from Florida ,from another Buckeye, born & raised . I'll have to look at your web sight . I still Gun hunt in Guernsey county every year.
  15. They seem to be using our troops as a sales pitch . Nice gesture , but I'm not going to buy their $hit Beer . The bar maid or owner , who ever it was , deserves a very big thank you . Doubt if it was a real situation . <dontknow>
  16. I ordered 250 Nosler 155 match & 100 Hornady 155 gr. A max , just to see how the work . All I have to do is get new 9 volt batteries for my Chronograph , I'm beginning to see a new one in my near future . <thumbsup>
  17. Its the bare feet that will give them away as Special Ops ! <lmao>
  18. New builds may need a higher round count to work properly sometimes. Lot of Lubricant also . <thumbsup>
  19. 16" bbl. 175gr. , Nosler Match, 42 gr. -IMR 4064 , 2466 Avg. Vel. , ES -26, SD - 11 20" bbl. 175 gr. , Nosler Match, 42 gr. IMR 4064 , 2573 Avg. Vel. , ES -17 , SD - 7 I seem to have no data for more then 42 gr. of IMR 4064 with the 175's , You could go higher or lower depending on how you barrel/chamber likes the loads . Here's the loading data for IMR 4064 from the manufacturer. for a 175 gr. bullet . 41.5 gr. to 45.6 gr. http://www.hodgdonreloading.com/data/rifle
  20. I would be in violation <lmao>
  21. I use CCI primers , almost exclusively any more , I do have some old WW & some new SR.Rem. BR primers , but all I buy any more is CCI . 41 gr. of 4064 is the low end of the loading data. I have Chrono stats from 168 gr. SMK with IMR 4064 ' 20 " bbl.- 42.5 IMR 4064 -avg. vel. - 2606 - ES -19 , SD -7 16" bbl.- 42.5 IMR 4064 - avg. vel. -2476 - ES - 46, SD -15 There's a thread on 4064 in the reloading section .
  22. I cam over all my Sizing dies over , slightly , even my SB dies . Are your reloads having any problems feeding into the chamber ? You also said you changed to a PRS Stock , did you change or replace any Buffer assembly components ?
