Leather yep..it would have the doughnut/oring....you prolly found the problem...get the shavings out...try again to shoot you got it narrowed down to the bolt/extractor is my guess...there was a post a while back bout the extractor tearing the cases up,,and if im not mistaken he put in another and solved the problem? there was a machining problem on the extractor? :) Wash

Leather when you assembled it...did you take and point the muzzle down and drop in the bcg? it should almost go into battery ... making sure the gas tube is aligned properly so its not interfering with the gas key itself.Did you take the bcg apart and service it before using? did you put one cartridge in a mag...fire it and did it lock back? :) Wash

My best friend and hid buddies just got kicked off their 5000 acre deer lease...they had been on it for bout 8 years...the rancher told em he hated ruts on the property...rule #1...cause they dont go away by themselves....yep one guy put some ruts down this last season....the landowner kept his word...bye bye boys...come get your trailers ,feeders,and deer blinds! well crap, now I see what you have...you bought the pws high dollar enhanced buffer tube( the inside length)...which is adding to your problems and then adding a hi power spring....with a wrong buffer.....get yourself a dpms car 308 buffer and spring and a 40 dollar ar15 buffer tube and go shoot lube it up! :) Wash the enhanced pws tube,the one you have... if its 7+ its gtg with the right buffer and spring
