did a brisket point yesterday bout 7lbs...used Black Ops rub and smoked at 275 for 6 hours until internal was 200 degrees...let it rest for an hour...then munched down :) Wash bad lighting on the meat pics..lol

We went to the range today and this trigger works great....no light strikes using Privi match 168... I like it! this was a brand spankin new rifle.. the sister to the other Nexgen 308....love the way the selector has no slop! On the other hand the Gizzle 3 gun in the sister rifle was having light primer strikes....but I know what to do for it....so the short story is...this is a nice trigger ! Thank you Robo :) Wash

Hey Trash welcome aboard! Check out the Mega ma-10 matched upper/lower sets...they cost a bit more,but you get what you pay for....the small stuff is already installed...which will really help a first time builder, and their uppers/lowers are great quality. If you can chew gum and walk at the same time you wont have any problems....its when folks go for the pieces that might not be ready for prime time get into trouble... its no fun to spend money on a rifle...put it together,,,then find out it doesnt work right and spend a lot of time trying to find the problem...thats when you have to spit out the gum! :) Wash

Leather funny how things feel...I was thinking that this hammer hits harder than the one I took out ...lol.. this is in one of my new never been fired Nexgen 308's...this upper is just like the first one and it does need a hard hit...so we will see tomorrow :) Wash
