  5. Boot the bcg is one of the heavier pieces...and its pa10 too .....this is where you save weight...throwdown on a lightweight BCG ....Dikstroker wont approve of a heavy azz BCG Wash
  6. Oh no a Dikstroker special im jealous ....that Xanthos is the nutz.....CONGRATS....don't put any pa 10 crap on it....please Wash

  10. Sketch you did have a bucket list day! Way to go...being in a lambo is soooo SWEET ! So if im not mistaken back in the day the parking lot race courses were called Gymkhanas im pretty sure ,and they prolly still have them on big ol parking lots. So me and my buddy were out cruising on Saturday afternoon in my 1970 454 vette the year I think was 1971,and we pass by this big ol parking lot with cars racing around the road course set up....so we go into the the lot and we are watching all this great fun ...this guy comes up and sez why don't you take the vette thru the course? Okay how? He sez just go over to the car club table fill out a waiver, and donate 5 bills to the club...well heck yeah im in. So first off the vette isn't made for this road stuff and ive never done this tiny pylon miniature golf road course... the course has the got timing lights, and all that stuff...so Im driving waay over my head in the car ,and im knocking pylons over and out of control.....wait for it.......I come into the finish line and smooth run over the timing lights .....it was game over for the day of racing for all....had some pissed off car club people wanting to kick my azz...as my buddy is jumping in and we wave bye bye....best 5 bucks I ever spent for a race Wash
  11. Thats not what she told me....? . Wash
  12. Easy Peasy .....if you can chew gum and walk at the same time you are GTG Wash
  13. Might be a good single shot?
  14. Yeppers that's on the small side for sure my 16" middies are all .082 to .086ish Wash
  15. Woot Woot jump in good enough pricing Wash
  16. Boon I don't reload...there will be some here shortly that do....also I use the Federal Gold Medal in 168 gr or the Privi in 168 gr cause my Nikon scopes are calibrated to the 168 and my rifles tend to like the heavier stuff.....get you a box of Privi 168 match for like 15 bills and see if your piece like heavy grain Wash
  17. Boon you will tighten up your groups a bit by not using soft points....the sf tend to get scuffed and whatnot as they are slammed up the ramps...ive seen em really messed up on occasions ..... Wash
  18. Road Depends on what you wanna do with the rifle as to which scope....ive got several Nikon M-308's that work awesome with the fedgold medal 168gr....the subtensions are right on all the way out to 500,and close up work too...The only suggestion I would make is your scope mount...I like the ones built for the AR's....they tend to be higher for a better cheek weld. Wash
  19. Slugger you be doing good so far.....just be careful of weight...these ar's gather weight real fast, and then they arnt fun to shoot any more Wash
  20. Boon Way to go ! Its great when a plan all comes together! your groups will get better as the barrel comes in, and you get used to the rifle...good going ....you can always play around with different ammo to see what the barrel likes, but I think you have done good! Wash
  21. On my failed heli hog trip this last year...my buddy has almost every caliber I have...and he never shoots hogs with anything else but his ar 762x39....we built these in 1993 and neither one of us have ever had trouble with mags....back then all you could get was the colt ar762x39 sporter....I havnt shot mine in years ,but he slays those hogs with his...as for as the 223/556 rifles mine havnt seen daylight in years.....ive said this before...once a year I open the 556/223 ammo boxes with the lake city rounds...and sniff the sweet nitro fumes coming out of the cans when I pop the lids....makes your eyes water.....wonder if the stash is prone to self detonation? Wash
  22. Great Idea I like the way you think brother! Lemme get the lay of the land .....Im thinkin these folks are A plus types.....they cater to the different agencies so im told...with all the pistol bays and the cars that are there for practice....I think they have a facebook page, but im not a face booker maybe you could check em out on facebook and see if they have fun there? Wash Yep Doc Ron...it would have to be an all dayer to make it worthwhile....ill talk to Doc Joe and have him talk to our buddy that's been going out there for training
  23. hit me up on the phone and we will plan.....you will like this place....we gotta do an early thing cause of the time change .....if im doc joe's coach ....is he in trouble?....lol Wash
  24. Hi Doc how far from you? its right at Godly Tx I think....its a good one for sure! Wash
  25. Come on down brother....looks like ill never get my old azz out to a fall shoot....and I even pledged to do so this time....Char's got another deal with her health going on....biopsy on her thyroid on Thursday....daaamn...im gonna have to take her car privileges away.....she cant be driven no turbo car with a lumpy thyroid....right? 98 daaamn there was no one at the four slots out to 600/700 but 4 shooters at the mile slot....I got a woodie watching that ...well I think I did? the mile deal was hill top to hill top...you could see the steel out there plain as day...must have been a big piece....whom ever owns this place must own or have cousins that own adjacent land ...cause shooting at distance no telling what could happen?
