  1. What Robo said ! These 308 bcg's aint no .223 popgun bcg. Not only are the gas rings tight on new ones, but you will also notice that the cam is super tight when the bolt rotates in the carrier. lube that cam up real nice too before you take it out the first time. Never chamber a round in a new build unless you intend to make it go bang....you will have a hard time extracting, cause everything is new and tight......all my 308 bcg's are still fairly tight even after a hundred rounds or so. :) Wash

lookin good Shepp! Those pork shoulder roasts look like pork tenderloins to me? The pork shoulder roasts or pork butts here in Texas are big round and angular in shape...what I see in the pic is a pork tenderloin...and mostly come two to a pack. lemme look I think i took pics of tenderloins we did last week...shoulda only been 1 and 1.25 hours at 320 and 165 internal... just a tad pink middle. I did post pics...page 6 of the pork tenderloins <thumbsup> Wash

  15. Hi Zog dont believe what you read...believe what you know....so on the buffer/buffer spring shoot the gun first before you go changing things around....all of my Mega 308's work just peachy with the stock buffer....on two of my Megas I used Tubbs flatwire buffer springs in my car stocks and that worked very nice :) Wash

  24. Hey Mag ! If your ejecting where you say ...leave it alone...read less...shoot more <laughs> ....if you wanna play around with cycle rates..you can get a slash's heavy buffer...he's a sponsor here. folks say his buffer does the trick for them...you can also get a Tubb's flatwire buffer spring.... I have two of them and they work well for me using the stock buffer..... you cant just go sticking different weights of buffers in the tubes...the length has to be considered too...."see where your dpms buffer is a different length from the arma lite buffer? :) Wash
