  1. Rob's thread "Screw you CMMG" showed him modifying a charging handle for his wife's .22 AR. I folowed suit. I purchased a Raptor Ambi charging handle and filled the void with JB Weld Steel putty. I sanded the aluminum before applying the JB Weld. It set up quickly and with a little sanding fell right into shape. Works great. Thanks Rob. The new handle with the POS plastic original handle. Underside showing the JB Weld filled channel. Top view. Right and left side views. Spike's Tactical lower, CMMG Sierra upper, Bushnell Halosight, Magpul BUIS (front mounted on a YHM riser), Catch 22 bolt catch, BDM magazines, Magpul grip and Tactical Solutions firing pin. Works great.
  2. I'm still confused. Are you guys firing live weapons or sitting in front of a monitor?
  3. We get gamers into the shop regularly. They always stand gawking at the display wall while one tells the other all about whatever weapon they're looking at. Then the teacher asks to hold one and often he'll say "Oh, that's heavy" or he'll have a surprised look on his face. And when he tries to cycle a big semi like a M1A he fails to use enough force. Gamer/posers are jokes.
  4. I can help y'all out with tactical training shibi. I've developed a superior tactical method of emptying a beer bottle. You buy.
  5. 98 is the winner!
  6. Do Army Rangers say jelly for jealous? Maybe in video games?
  7. So, break it down for me Robo, are you saying hip waders need to be issued for this thread?
  8. I don't give a shiit if that rifle doesn't cycle reliably, I want to own it. 2" 800 meter groups wins championships.
  9. Nice SA.Yeah, those adjustable sights weren't intended for CC.
  10. I thought she did a pretty good job. Cute little girl who knows how to sing like that has probably been well initiated by her froggy skinhead cohorts.
  11. Nice job but not my style. That kinda $hit might get. ou locked up if you're ever forced to shoot someone with it. I knew a guy that installed "Kill 'em all let God sort 'em out" grips on his carry 1911. What a dumbass.
  12. Not much of a fan of the 50mm objective lens. Extra parallax for a very small amount of extra light transmission. I prefer 40mm and smaller but I guess at long range shooting only it'll make little difference. Sounds like a fine and useful scope.
  13. My CMMG Sierra dedicated 22lr upper has been reliable and accurate. I'd have no problem recommending one.
  14. Welcome from Florida.
  15. Not me. I don't know $hit.
  16. That's some mighty fine shootin. Stupid ant!
  17. Damn Blue! Why'd ya hafta go and bring your sex life into it?
  18. For the most part I can agree with you, but, the word "need" I don't. No one "needs" a defensive firearm until they do, and then they need it really, really badly. So unless you're you can foretell the future you can't know what you'll need.
  19. Got the Rainer Arms Raptor charging handle for the CMMG 22lr AR. Gonna do Rob's mod on it with JB Weld. Also got the Work Sharp knife sharpener. Not so sure about that thing. So far it's kinda piss poor, I do a much better job with my stones. Hopefully I'll get better with it.
  20. SOLD! SOLD! SOLD! That's gotta be a world record.
  21. In my eyes the benefit to the unarmed comes from concealed carry. Not knowing who is or is not armed benefits those who chose to run through life trusting their luck. As R2 has pointed out, this applies only to the states the permit carry. (I wouldn't live anywhere else).
  22. 5", 8+1 shot, blued Delta Elite 10mm pistol for sale. Very good to excellent condition. I'm asking $1000 locally for this pistol but for 308AR forum members it's $925 + shipping.
  23. Since I can't know if I might be involved in an auto accident I fasten my seatbelt. Likewise, since I can't know if I might be attacked I carry a firearm. These preparations are prudent in both situations and failure to do so in either circumstance is irresponsible.
