  1. I think it's all the bear grylls survival crap, and all the China stuff they sell. Really ruined the brand for me
  2. Doesn't really look stout enough to be much use for flash hider/castle nut, but I have a general dislike for Gerber.
  3. I am curious about that stuff....just not enough to be the first here to try it lol.
  4. Might want to post what gun they fit... (Looks like glock? I'm not a glock guy..have no idea if there are different sights for different models)
  5. Where's that canuckistanian gunsmitter when you need him?
  6. I had 500 lum inforce and traded it off. Never "blinded" myself but it was uncomfortable a few times, and never saw any advantage over my 160 or 120 pistol lights.
  7. A note of caution....if you plan on using that for home defense, something that bright can end up disorienting you just by reflecting off walls or glass. I keep my hd lights under 200.
  8. Have a friend with a reset issue. Says it work fine at the range, but reset is iffy in dryfire
  9. Dirka Dirka jihad Dirka Dirka.
  10. Ill answer your next question so you dont need to ask it ;)..dpms pattern uppers have 2 rail heights. The older/high version and the newer/low version. Dpms only makes the low pattern now but other companies make both and both have aftermarket support. There is about 1/16" difference in the two so just be concious of which one you have. The new/low upper is the same height as milspec ar15 uppers so may be a good idea if you plan on using a gas block or barrel mounted front sight. Easier parts compatability
  11. Kinda screwed. You can buy the heavy DPMS quad rail that matches or You can rig it with a spacer on the gas block, but you will be pretty high over bore. Most guys just buy a stripped normal height upper and swap the parts over. Brownells was selling uppers pretty cheap. Not sure if they still do.
  12. Or stilettos (if you don't want the kick to be to bad)
  13. Hold up on that order. The p/n you gave looks to be the target height (extra tall) receiver. If that is the case, those sights won't help without some sort of riser. That rifle was specifically designed to accommodate a scope with a large objective, not irons.

There is a local guy selling an "as new in box" first gen P99AS for 450. Pretty cool score. I'd like to check out a PPQ.
  15. If they don't make that....they should.
  16. Extra high rail. Explains the price. one of you master machinists should buy them out and chop them down to standard height. Rebrand them as your own.
  17. B. Holes can be filled.
  18. I'd think m110 specs would require m110 parts...and none of those are cheap. just the KAC mags are $90 each if you find a deal. Can you elaborate on how m110-ish you are trying to get?
  19. Local AK guru has been complaining a lot about those new century guns. Seems like he just scraps them down to bare receivers and rebuilds them ground up.
  20. That's what I do when I shoot dirty loads.
  21. Was wondering what that was. Tom keeps one in his range bag. That guy is always ready for anything.
  22. Lol Damn. Should have seen that one a mile away.
  23. I've seen some pretty bad reviews of that UTAS15...so probably made a good call.
  24. How do you test hardness? I always see the rating but have no idea how you check.
  25. Snarky we can handle lol. Glad to have you.
