Maybe take a peek and make sure it's fully in battery before you pull the trigger. Get yourself some mobile1 and soak that carrier down. Grab 100 rounds of cheap decent ammo (we have had good results with ZQI from wally world) and bang away. Nice looking gun. Congrats.

The tube is the same so you are good to go. Buffer and spring are specific to 308. Toss up some measurements if you arent sure and we will let you know if you got it right. Im with you on the simple aspect, and never had any desire to run an adjustable block, but wont really hurt anything if you just run it open. You could probably trade it off pretty easy for a standard block.
