  1. I got "the shark" (as seen on tv) steam cleaner at a thrift store for $8. Thing is amazing with carbon.
  2. Nice. Looks like this would be good for the DPMS high And all the manufacturers using that spec if I'm understanding this right? If you are running a standard height railed gas block? At that price..might be good for future trade fodder!

    walther whore

Ran about 250 through It. Bunch of mixed FMJ, my old carry ammo that rotated out(golden sabers) and my new carry ammo(Fed HST 124+p) flawless as expected. Trigger is nothing special, but decent. Slow deliberate shooting at 30' makes tiny little groups. Fist sized groups aren't hard shooting rapid. I was stringing them them at longer distances but I just need some practice. Kholster (looks like a supertuck) is a pain to set up, but this gun is invisible. 7Rd mag in the gun and 8 rd in the pocket. Played with the kids at the mall, ate at a posted restaurant, walked into a few posted stores and nobody had any idea there was a pistol there. I really like this little guy. Still carry my P99 most of the time but this guy does exactly what I want it to.
  4. So happens they have 15% off and free shipping this weekend. Gggaz.com
  5. Shibi might. Just sayin.

    Simple math

That's about what I make, and I have to wear body armor and a gun. Already told my boss if they ever pass that charcoal here I'll be flipping burgers by Friday. And doing it with a smile. Lol. Charcoal? Really?
  7. Unless you have an oh so sweet and light GG&G that comes with a QD ;)
  8. That's a poopload of cool knives!
  9. Here's your .40 expert! https://youtu.be/9ABCiPJRCyA
  10. Hope that works! But generally speaking, the hole in the block is a bit bigger than the hole in the barrel allowing for that slight difference. I butt all my gas blocks up to the shoulder. I know some guys use a business card in the gap when setting it up.
  11. Many of us have found that a new 308 build tends to like lube. As in...drop your carrier in a quart of mobile1 the night before the range. Wake up, give it a good shake, and drop it in the gun.
  12. What's best in life? To crush your enemies. See them driven before you. To hear the lamentations of their women.
  13. You havnt tried the FGMM with the new gas block? I'd say go back to the known good ammo and go from there. Run it wet. I'd suggest banging a couple hundred factory rounds to loosen her up before you start pulling stuff apart.
  14. No robo...only one expert was neededed.
  15. That's pretty nuts. Wonder how they would compare with some corners thrown in.
  16. Costa said so. Glad we can put all this behind us now http://www.tactical-life.com/gear/45-acp-vs-9mm-ammo/#bsum-buffoni
  17. http://3dprint.com/54163/printedfirearm-ar10-piece/ How about a printed lower. BANG.
  18. I miss not being broke lol. The 2 seem to be inversely proportional
  19. For those of you with android phones...google "showbox apk" tons of movies to download. Sniper is in there, as well as lone survivor. Tons of tv shows that update weekly. Download or stream. I just downloaded platoon and apocalypse now. I transfer them to the computer when I'm done. Keep a few on the phone for slow days at work.
  20. Easy...THAT GUY WAS ON VACATION. geez, cut them some slack. ;)
  21. I did that on my first AR. works in a pinch if you don't want to buy other parts...but to ship one like that is stupid. Why go through the added expense of drilling and pinning? You can buy clamp on low pro blocks dirt cheap.
  22. Brownells has the 338 lowers around $100 in stock right now
  23. Doing it...good thinking. Getting caught/talking about it...not so good. Funny I was just thinking about this the other day when I saw someone selling an M16 lower for some astronomical price. I was thinking how it would suck to damage or wear out a $15k lower, and thought it might be a good idea, although illegal, to build an identical 80% lower and use it and lock the original away in a deep dark hole.
  24. This. That's why I asked if it had the barrel nut on it. A pinned FSB is suppose to be a somewhat permanent install. Why would you ship that without a cap? You are requiring the user to remove the sight no matter what they want.
  25. Some poor folks have to register lowers with big brother. Finishing an unserialized 80% lower is a way to avoid the paper trail.
