strange that you think select fire should be off the list while a muffler stays on. I feel there should be no NFA at all. only about 10% of my shooting is done at public ranges, but if there was no tax or hassle I am sure the vast majority of shooters would have a can.

it's advertised to fit on a mossy 590 as well. guess I need one of those now

I would love to go to the range and not need my Micky mouse ears on top of my inserts so that I could actually chat with my friends. I'm not willing to be on a NFA list to get one. I won't even do a FFL transfer at this point. the petition is a waste of time though.

so you initially tried a 5.56 rifle spring and buffer. curious why you didn't use a 308 rifle spring and buffer?

nice...but confused about your buffer setup. are you running a 5.56 carbine buffer or a 308 carbine buffer and what spring? any reason you didn't use a 308 rifle buffer? has this setup been functioning fine?

I'm glad you posted this. it's honestly how I feel. I don't carry to protect anybody but myself and my family. if some poop goes down and there is an exit close by, I'm going to take it. if I get cornered....someone is going to have a bad day. maybe a situation will arise where I feel the need to intervene, but at the end of the day my responsibility is to my wife and daughter. that's the oath I took.
