the bullet doesn't make a perfect arc...and each round will have different characteristics. a hot loaded 150 isn't going to hit anywhere near a subsonic 175. there isn't any simple answer here. you need to either cheat like I do and get a ballistics program, or you need to spend a few days/Weeks on the net reading up on all this. I've done enough reading to have a general idea how it works, but I don't have the time or resources to practice the art so I just plug numbers into my app and it tells me how many clicks to dial up. if your setup/ammo is consistent you can make a little cheat sheet.

unless your scope is FFP, the subtensions in the reticle will equal different measurements at different levels of magnification. the distance from one line to another at 10x is not the same at 20x. your reticle will only be accurate (1dot section = 1 mil) at a specified power. any other magnification level and you need to do the math. there are some handy ballistic calculaters you can download for free. they do all the work for you and can tell you how many clicks to adjust or how far to hold. I have one called strelok that is fun to play with.

my PRI rail looked like that when I first installed it. the tube has 2 studs that use the holes in the barrel nut to index. I thought I had the barrel nut aligned until I put the tube on and saw it was off a tiny bit. took some back-and-forth to get it just right. easy fix if you have the tools. in your case, I see some fedex in your future.

ordered the front PRI cups for my 3 pri rails too, so I'll need some beachin slings soon as the wallet recovers from this weekend.

been loving A1 stocks again, but sling options are limited. I bought one of those drill/epoxy sets, but decided I didn't want to ruin my gear for a setup that might fail. saw these guys and snatched them up during the 30% off sale. they are simple and solid. install like a standard sling loop. non rotating and ambi.

raptor shipped this afternoon. +1 for red barn armory. I've never liked those slip on sleeves. always felt bulky. I feel like they took a mold of my hand when they made those MOE+ grips. just fit me perfect. the TD grip looks cool and I like the company, but comfort comes first.

I like the rubber. pulled a miad off, and tried a tangodown too. always go back to the moe.

I don't think it makes the slightest difference. little friction won't slow that bolt down one bit. damage ind is good to go though. have an order showing up tomorrow and have had a few in the past. no problems.

the LAR8 uses a bunch of proprietary stuff, but pretty sure it's just a standard extension.
