ASA sells a carrier for $80 or you send them one and they machine a little notch in it for $45. Already blowing my budget so I think I'll opt for the cheaper route. They offer the specs for DIY but I don't think my dremel skilz are up to the task.

If you must use the risers, make sure they are pushed all the way forward into the rail slots while you tighten them...and then make sure the rings are pushed all the way forward into the riser slots. I'd be most suspicious of the super glue.

Both. Mostly people asking way too much for used stuff, but if you stay on top of it and strike fast you can catch some great deals. Down Side is dealing with strangers. Read about a guy last week in Phoenix meeting to sell a scar16. Public meeting spot during the day. Buyer hit him with a stun gun and ran. Both parties fired indiscriminately at each other. Nobody hit but some nearby cars shot up. Bad situation all around. I generally only use it for small stuff. Have bought and sold a few guns, but always bring a friend to the meet and do it where I know cameras are around. I also ignore responses written in hood-speak.

PA sells the stencil kits. I've seen a few come out really cool. Not in stone yet. Still need to get the top rail so I can measure out what rings I want.

Lego gun update. I love the A2 setup. In fact, I've been wanting to start a legit M16A2 clone build with this FN upper. I also have an aimpoint wasting space in the closet...and now impulse bought a PFI 3-9X. 2 nice quality optics not being used. Seems turning this into an A3 solves all my problems. Picked up a slick side on the cheap. Another KAC rear buis. Still need to order the top rail but was waiting to see if pri has a sale Monday. Also been wanting to paint another gun, and the 3-9 has some nice ring marks, so I guess we have our victim lol.
