Looking hard at the M4-72 and the VG6 gamma for the new gun. The PA is clearly the top dog, but it cost a little more. The gamma looks dead sexy and doesn't seem too far behind performance wise. I have an old dynacomp now but I want recoil reduction over anything else. I tried that discontinued SLR brake I got for cheap on closeout and wasn't overly impressed.

They fabricated a birth certificate for him, so why not.

Neat idea if we lived in a world of responsible adults with common sense. Then again, in that world it wouldn't be needed.

Yeah...it's looking pretty bad. I'm most likely in the minority here on this subject and nothing good will come from its discussion, so I'm just going to stick to the original intent of the post and say don't put dumb poop on a gun you might use to take a human life.

Think I'm going to keep the raptor. Was playing around today, and I like it a lot. I like my guns set up the same way, and my 556 guns use bcm, but I might have to make an exception.

Trying to eliminate the obvious stuff before range test. I mentioned the carrier was bumping the gas tube. Peeking through the receiver it looks like the hole in the barrel nut may be a hair lower than the hole in the receiver, causing the gas tube to can't up slightly. Should be able to bend it enough to clear. just thought it was worth noting.

I've gotten about 95% of the stuff I've ordered from them lol. Sometimes they post a deal too good to ignore. I just always plan on a refund so I'm happy if it actually shipps and not overly disappointed if it doesn't.

I'm off Thursday and Sunday so hopefully start the shakedown then. Went together pretty smooth. Was able to get hold of a field gauge and it locks up smooth on primed brass so I'll call headspace good. I had to notch the PRI rail to get the front sight to fold down. The AR10 sight is obviously a tiny bit taller than the AR15 version and didn't clear. Seems like something PRI would have addressed though? Criterion 16" barrel. DPMS BCG. 1St gen B5 SOPMOD. Mecharmor trigger. Kept the spikes comp from my 18" gun. It feels like the carrier key is bumping the gas tube a little. Its closing, but there's a rough spot. Havnt had the 1-6.5x on the range yet but It seems pretty nice. Also have the compM4 not being used so I tossed it on to see how it feels.

Little heavy, but exactly how I wanted it. More to follow

I have a raptor and a BCM. I'm leaning towards using the BCM so I might sell the raptor. Just need to feel them both out a little to decide
