I spent the past 2 weekends with my side job getting firearms/oc/baton/cuffs certifications for NV. small group of us are going up in June to work security for the big gem show for a week. The company subcontracting us is the one that does SHOT and the GM seemed to like us. Said he would invite us up to work the next one. They pay pretty decent and cover room, food, and transport so I'm pretty stoked.

Well, the zero shift isn't a certainty, it's just a possibility. Obviously it took the gov a long time to discover it. Might never happen to you. I think from an ethical standpoint the company is shitty for sending the sights into into combat in regions they knew could affect reliability and covering it up. I'd still keep mine if I didn't find that aimpoint deal but I sure don't feel bad about 86ing it. Mine was delivered yesterday. Tic tock

In my brain I just swapped my 14.5 gun to an entry length stock with a law adapter. That needs to happen.

The H6 engine uses a chain. Suppose to last a lot longer. Havnt seen any reports of breakage.

I have an impreza wagon, so I'm already a fan. I would have liked something newer, but I was dead set against financing anything. This guy is really clean and came in under budget so I can pull my little pathfinder off the road now and start replacing broken stuff. To be honest, I think this thing will be much better for its intended purpose than the xterra would have been. Its awesome on the highway. Super comfy. The kids are stoked they have their own sunroof lol.

Well, I didn't get my xterra :( Looked at a few, but they were either questionable condition or well over blue book. Wife was pushing towards the mini van and I had to flank her. Ended up with a 04 outback. Thing is pretty nice. 6 Cylinder is silky. Tons of room but drives like a car. Took her out to the desert to shoot today and she did just fine in the dirt. I christen thee GUNBOAT!

I was planning on keeping it, I just fell into that aimpoint so I don't need it. Plus, I'll be turning about 100% profit on it. As of a few days ago some of the first guys to return them (about a Month ago) reported eotech said the sights were received and refunds were being processed. Don't think anyone has a check yet

I believe that gas block is just held on with set screws? Personally I'd avoid the headache of dealing with the mismatched height and replace it with a standard rail height gas block, or a nice flip up sight. Its an easy swap, and any AR15 gas block will work as long as it's the correct diameter for the barrel.
