  1. I hear ya about the rubber.Been looking for rubberband that's about 1/2" with a small I.D. to use on grip as I also have the Moe grip also.Can't seem to find them. <dontknow>

I like the menue brother,wife will get button mushrooms take out the stem and fill : using chorizo,onions,mushroom stems diced,garlic bagel chips smashed to crumbs,tablespoon of ketchup.Mixedup put in mushroom and top with a piece of cheese.The chorizo is cooked ahead of time and drained on paper towels.Baked on cookie sheet for about 15 min.
  3. Nice,I'm a big fan of the Moe+ ,then I tried the LaRue "Jpeg" doesn't have the rubber but fits reaalll good in the hand.Primary arms had a sale on them for $19.00 for .308 and 5.56 style.Just my 2 mags.

  18. You could make a hone using a wood dowel and sandpaper and hone the inside of the buttstock till you get the slip you need.Just a thought.

Well turkeys done,got it from work as a Christmas gift.We always use Butterball.Directions said 185* for 8 hrs.,I thought it was to low for the size turkey I had so ran @ 200* sprayed it w/apple juice Worcestershire sauce.Then they said flip breast side up and insert temp probe.Checked the temp and it was 180*....overdone.Breast meat was dry,but the dark meat was perfect.O well... next time I'll follow the directions better [lower temp] and use the temp probe sooner.

  24. I wonder if a generator hookedup to natural gas might not be a better way to go.While electric might be out,and fuel like said has a shelf life,so far thier has been no disruption in gas unless there is an earthquake. <dontknow>
