Hahaha when on the job it was sandwiches, soup in thermos, cold pasta salad, coffee and Gatorade. At the time I didn't realize how much sugar was in each container. Always self contained except when working in a hospital cafeteria was a treat. Over a pack a day smoker kicked the butts. Now it's salad's, vegetable, fish, chicken and red meat. 2% milk after dinner at 6pm then it's water for the rest of evening. Snacks are nuts, yogurt and Level 1 protein powder.8 hrs sleep that improved after using a CPAP machine almost 30 years ago. I try to do something that will fatigue me at the end of the day. Wife has had problems with hemroids for a long time that have gotten worse. GP basically told her surgery was painful just suck it up, told her to get another opinion. She found a guy that does what he calls banding, band is placed on roid and it falls off. Takes a few weeks. One is done at a time pain around 6 for a few days and gets better. She is doing good then it's done. As a result we have increased our intake of fiber which is a good thing. Take away from the gym with these jacked guys are.
1- these guys don't drink as alcohol slows metabolism
2- healthy gut health is the foundation fitness.
I try to maintain a sense of consistency in my workout and still make it fun. If I can do it anyone can. Hardest part is getting started.
