Dude called into the radio show yesterday afternoon with a border solution. Have aircraft fly back and forth on the U.S./Mexico border, initially dropping cacti and thorny plant seeds, then spraying fertilizers. Essentially plant an inpenetrable cactus fence a few miles deep. Animals won't have much of an issue. People will be fucked. Jon

That's a mouthful of truth there. I'm not sure though how many are "committed", just as with constitutional issues like firearms ownership. Like Tom pointed out. Dude on the local radio plays a clip, "Ain't nuthin' nice about nature!" Yup. Jon

"Allah barkbah!" <laughs> Jon

Sorry bro! Tonopah is WAY out there. I'd rather stay closer to home and train more people. Jon

I agree with a lot of that, Tom. People wriled up and voicing their disdain of current events online, and others (sheepish) warn "The government monitors the internet! Sshhhh!!" Totally pertinent: While that deals with taxes, it is the same for any liberties...God-given. The Bill of Rights is an acknowledgement of those Natural Rights. If the BoR was given by men, it can be taken away by men. While there are those that believe that to be the case, it isn't so. But as the short presentation The Tiny Dot points out (and Tom), the masses of people...even if they are agitated...will react no more than a disgruntled chicken having their egg taken. They may cluck a little louder with the hand in their nest but will soon settle in, starting to formulate another egg to be stolen. A complicit mainstream media furthers the efforts of controllers/money-lender puppets, by focusing on minute little incidents when necessary and big ones when available. Even only 30 years ago, the state of media reduced a shooting of two or three people at work to a blurb on page 3 of section B in the newspaper. Now a shitbag that shoots a schoolbus driver and snatches a kid is 24/7 in the middle of a national gun-ban debate, where the unknowingly-being-used shills are crying "Do it for the children!" Mass-media has the ability to pull a distant and remote private tragedy to center-stage to advance any agenda...and they do advance agendas. http://www.corporations.org/media/ Conspiracy fact right there. To people like that, who crave the power of public office, they don't care. Know what I've been thinking? Who sold Saddam Hussein the nerve gas he used on the Iranians and the Kurds? What's to stop those people from doing such a thing in the United States, as they lose their grip on power, the controlling influence of thug-enforcers waning? "Freedom's just another word, for nothing left to lose." Janis Joplin The jiggy is up. The workers in this country see the takers with more than they themselves have. While "advances" in technology have created a nation of couch potatoes and softies, those that feel cornered and trapped will do anything. And we are about evenly divided now, whether people vote or not...workers and takers. The funny thing is the takers believe they are a united coalition of coexisting tolerant kumbiya-ians, the rich man is the problem, the white man is the problem, industry and business is the problem, those racists are the problem. Test their belief system just a bit and they seem to turn on one another, pointing their fingers and laying blame. The other half are those which realize the above philosophy of the takers is unsustainable. More and more I see people of all races and many creeds realizing just how much of the current system is bull crap. They honestly don't care about another's color or what happened 50, 100, 150, or 1000 years ago perpetrated by one group on another. They are worried about NOW and want to enjoy the fruits of their own labor, without someone in a suit or someone in a box telling them how to do it. I've been disappointed by some of those in the firearms community and how they seem to be in a mass of dots, but willing to heed the every command of the tiny dot with threats of enforcement. That isn't their fault though. As Tom points out with the 1st A-only-ers, we have been force-fed for decades an agenda. Look up Stockholm Syndrome. We are innundated with images of "right-wing extremists" holed up against SWAT teams and gunned down, had multiple guns and hundreds of rounds of ammunition (pffftt...a short day at the range)...all only because they wanted to sieze his house to build a park "for the children". Can't you just concede or die already? Jon P.S. As I've said before, there are millions of us that may be willing to stand shoulder-to-shoulder and FIGHT...well once it's started, because I have to work, and what if they take my home? I have to think about my three kids and getting them peacefully into slavery, rather than watching me get gunned down standing alone, etc, etc, etc. Nobody wants to be that first one. Failing to acknowledge that if we rose up en masse as one, they would have crap panties.

ATF will promote him. Unlike the DEA that ridiculed out Mr. "I'm The Only One Professional Enough In Here To Handle A Glock-BLAM". That then sued. Jon -
What do you have on order or in the mail?

Those things are AWESOME!! They make your rifle more deadly and accurate, even when you clinch it between your butt-cheeks shooting over the back of your head! The BM Co. Police Chief said so! Jon -
Used, bro, used! A rather large offering in .338 Lapua rifles too. When you go into Murphy's, to your left are unique handguns and knives, regular knives, and Colt's in special display cases, .22 rifles and military-style rifles in the racks on the wall, new optics in the counter cases, then CCW handguns. On the back wall behind that are rifles that have been worked on, and a walk-through to another space lined with racks of items on lay-a-way. THAT room was lined completely with anything that could remotely be considered to be banned under a new AWB. Honestly, I was surprised they had TWO Mossy 590s, one with a heat-shield and bead sight, the other w/o the shield and with rifle sights, both with lugs. I'm going to start dropping in on a regular basis. There have been some screaming deals in there when people do crazy trades. One I missed was a Ruger Compact Laminate in .308 Win for $399. Jon

When I first saw him sitting there, his uniform reminded me of the old USSR air force uniforms...over-sized and a bit over the top. Jon

When we were teens, we were going to the swap meet in our buddy's Pontiac Ventura (Nova body style), and picked up an older teen chick that was hitch-hiking. She was a hippy, had the ash-ink tattoos, smelled like patchouli, and forced some odd green substance on us. After the sunset, we went to pull out of the swap meet when she left. Get to the main street and it was wall to wall traffic that wouldn't stop. I was in the middle of the back seat. Right when there was a space about big enough for a Honda CRX with a blown V-8 to squeeze into, dude in the passenger seat leans over to the drivers ear and screams PUNCH IT DUDE!!! Gas pedal to the floor, straight across three lanes of traffic (amidst screeching brakes of other cars), then over corrected back to the sidewalk, then recorrected back to the middle lane, followed by howls of laughter all while the driver is yelling "You stupid muthafuckas just about got us killed dumb son of a bitches can fuckin' walk back almost got my car totaled..." and on and on. Get to the light, still howling and screaming, and hear a couple of motorcycles revving, look over and there is SIX motocops, leaning down on their tanks, and looking in at us! BWWAAHAHAHAha, humph. :o :eek13: Now was the driver's turn to laugh it up. They let us be. Jon

I can't remember for certain...$1679 maybe? Forgot about the Savage 10 Scout in .308 Win! It was just over $400 I want to say. There were a LOT of distractions, people must've traded in all sorts of stuff to get the mil-style rifles. Like the SIG 1911 Skorpion for $749, used (slightly, if at all). Jon

For progressive, we have a Lee Pro 1000. Tried the primer feed and wasn't impressed at the squashing rate (especially during the primer shortage). Started priming them all one at a time. What was fun was someone new to reloading telling me what crap Lee is, then buying a Dillon 650 out the gate. Hundreds of smashed primers later, they saw fit to ask what I do about it. I've actually been going back to single stage for the consistency, for my personal use ammo. The stuff for classes, where max distance is 15 yards usually, I can live with bigger variations. Jon

I was impressed by Ted Cruz, Sen. Tex. ®. He should make a presidential run! Jon
