  2. Or else FN wouldn't have put this package together! (.45acp will follow) http://www.gunsamerica.com/blog/fnh-usa-338-lapua-sniper-long-slide-fns-shot-show-2013/ <laughs> Jon
  3. Anybody want to try and make January 19 up at the capitol in Phoenix? Other forums are really focused on this weekend. Jon
  4. I'm surprised they had it! Surely you saw the "No more than 2 boxes/cans/containers of _________ per customer"? Last time around (2008-2010) Sportsman's started late on that rationing. One person came in and bought a pallet of .223, nearly causing a riot. Jon
  5. Yup! Funny too. Not 5 years before RRA introduced the LAR-8, I got lectured on how it wasn't possible to do an AR with a FAL-type magazine. Another one of the "It isn't possible" engineers. Jon
  6. Welcome from AZ amullinax! Jon
  7. You're not thinking globally! Come on now, get with it...in the interest of fairness and the betterment of those impoverished Third World populations, we need to drive Americans down into poverty while simultaneously weakening America's stance as a leader, in technology and might. C'mon comrade! Jon
  8. <lmao> True story. Was with a friend in his mid'70s Ford 4x4. We turned a corner onto the next big street and there, in full uniform, was an urban cowboy pushing a Chevy truck that had a sticker which said "I'd rather push a Chevy than drive a Ford." Honk-honk-honk and wave good-bye! Personally I would've stopped. Still waved though. <laughs> Jon
  9. <laughs> <lmao>
  10. I wonder if the mag is proprietary. Jon
  11. Why didn't the GOP put this guy up? Jon
  12. Awesome! Now, we have to get them to leave Massachussettes. Jon
  13. Went to the gunpowder cupboard. DAMN!! Those store shelves are BARE!! What's it like in your areas? Jon
  14. Somewhere in Latin America. Robo would've powered through it and stuck the landing! Jon
  15. Now you're sounding like my ex:
  16. Welcome aboard m0z! Jon
  17. poop bro, that was stuffing the bags of powder into the breech of the 16" gun, nothing more. Just wait... Non-stop reading of letters from children, constant media barrage (local and national), hammer, hammer, hammer, hammer. Today they were playing an audio clip of a local politidouche...some new term for standard-capacity magazines, like "over capacity" or "extra capacity". Don't remember exactly. Total buzz phrase we will be hearing LOTS more. Jon
  18. "4. Direct the Attorney General to review categories of individuals prohibited from having a gun to make sure dangerous people are not slipping through the cracks." Paraphrased, "Eric Holder will now review what labels we may best apply to large groups of people, in order to deny constitutional rights of those whom we fear most." Or maybe I'm just too damned cynical. Jon
  19. Foregone conclusion. While not ALL owners are, ALL central banks (the Federal Reserve Bank included) are mostly controlled by the same family-owners. The money shuffling is quite often for show only. The illusion of independence is there. Which is why when this engineered crash goes down (create a problem), they will showcase a way to solve it (needs a solution), and their end-game wishes will be fulfilled (problem solved). Jon
  20. IMNSHO that depends upon where the LE are located. Generally, more urban-based PD personnel (NYC, Chicago, LA, Tucson) seem to already be quick on the triggers. As people get away from the inner cities, suburbia is a mixed bag, with LE in rural areas seeming to be more mindful of their Oath and citizens. Jon
  21. I've yet to receive any reply from any of them. I'm sure that McCain's researchers have me on a list for saying he needs his neck stretched. Barber probably isn't far behind. Jon
  22. This was first seen by me on another forum and it is one very AWESOME suggestion! Let us, the shooting community, lobby and urge firearms manufacturers to CEASE and DESIST ALL firearms sales to any law enforcement agencies within states that enact more strict gun controls!! Ronnie Barrett did it with California LE when they supported a state AWB. We can get every manufacturer to get on board with this! Jon

    D-Day

Today is the day we find out exactly what recommendations Obama received from former-CT senator Joe Biden. As others have pointed out, antis scream for the world and then when they tone down a bit, gun people say "Well I can see that as being reasonable." I hope you don't fall for it. Light up your politicos phone lines today! I don't mind being an ass with mine...they already have me marked. <laughs> The reality is though I believe this will cause a dynamic shift in demographics in America. I see gun makers leaving states which are anti-gun, and people as well. To me it is doubtful that we will see a liberal influx into the great gun ban areas of the country, their unwillingness to stand by their "unarmed is better" convictions. One nagging question is eating at me...what are politicians doing behind the scenes, while we are distracted with the gun control debate? Something to do with the Federal Reserve? An international agreement ceding more American sovereignty to world authorities? As you may have guessed, I don't trust them or the dog-and-pony show. Jon
  24. I keep finding them here and there. Almost said "I keep coming across them," but I'd never hear the end of that poop here! <laughs> Jon
  25. I got one also. Screaming deal! Thanks! Jon
