  1. A lot of video clips in this article. http://theintelhub.com/2013/01/12/sandy-hook-shooting-active-shooter-drill-confirmed-by-law-enforcement-raises-suspicion-of-false-flag-operation/ Jon
  2. The Wheeler combo kit, has 1" and 30mm bars and the adjustable torque-driver, plus multiple bits for the various types of screws. It was on sale at MidwayUSA, and came in a hard plastic box. The kit only comes with the 240 grit lapping compound, which is VERY abrasive! So it is worth it to also obtain various finer grits of lapping compounds. Jon
  3. A good video by hickok45, supporting BOTH dates, Jan. 19 and Feb. 8! Jon
  4. He said that too. "Not much going on except it hurts." ::) Yeah Matt, he's probably glad it wasn't fatal too. When you start going casual is when you...or someone else...ends up with extra unintended holes. Today is range-day for the class yesterday...all but one experienced shooter. We'll see how many bad habits are in the works. Jon
  5. Red, white, and blue brother! Hickok45 is now behind a march. Not super mainstream but a good guy! Jon
  6. 2-minutes is an eternity! When inmates would start scrapping, by proper reality fighting rules they had to keep going until the other person was incapacitated or we broke it up. Even if we got there 30 seconds after it started the participants were usually exausted, looking over their shoulders wishing we would hurry-the-frick-up! I know when I started using those muscles I wasn't used to flexing all the time, 10-minutes of half-speed sparring wiped me out! 2-minutes was about twice as long as I really wanted to hold my arms up. :o Jon
  7. Like a stickbug! Damn good idea! Jon
  8. One of the guys called me twice while I was conducting class this morning. We took a break before the written test, so I called to see what was up. Seems he got tired of waiting in the cold for a group that had said they would show up at the range. So about 1000 he decided to go ahead and shoot his .32 (not sure which one) when, as told to me, he "...cocked it and it shot me in the hand. Went in my palm and out between my thumb and finger." Ayup. Pay attention folks! Jon

  10. I'm going to have something on in BLAZE ORANGE and something on the ban wishlist...either an AR or the Mossy 930. Probably going to paint either one an obnoxiously LOUD NEON color too, so Tom doesn't attract too many flies on his own. ;D Jon
  11. I've not heard of any issues with them but have no personal experience with them. Mentioned the .303 Brit because it is a fairly powerful round. LOTS of M1 Carbines have clamp-on stuff too. More than anything it is an appearance thing...many people think it looks tacky or cheap...like me. <laughs> Jon
  12. That's great, Todd! Cardio will come back faster than you may expect. Jon
  13. I returned a call to a student this morning, who stated he's looking for a rifle...just as a :fawkdance: to the feds for having to jump through hoops in the past. He said at the gunshow last week (the one with cars backed up 1 1/2 miles to park), rifles like M&P15s that were previously $750-800 were marked up to $2500-3000. Gougehole dealers IMO. Jon
  14. The British and Indians used hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of clamp-on flash hiders and other muzzle devises on .303 British calibre rifles (did you like that?). Jon
  15. Check out the dude's hair during "High-temperature testing." Jon
  16. The douche that did own Sportsman's was using the Kenysian economic model...borrow to buy, then use that as collateral to borrow more, then buy, then borrow, never paying anything off, always using credit. When the crunch hit all their suppliers said "Cash ONLY!" The single main reason half the shelves in every department were empty. Entered bankruptcy, got bought by the Canadians...who ONLY use cash, closed the borrowed stores and are back on good footing in the black. Jon
  17. I believe we should stick with February 8, more time for people to plan and organize. Of course, from feedback I'm getting elsewhere, a bunch of gunowners are talking themselves and others out of any sort of demonstration. I say let them be fed by Obama. Jon
  18. Someone on MO said that the new Hornady Load Manual has a buttload of .300 Blackout loads listed. Jon
  19. Same here but I'm not getting the calls from friends. They don't like to hear "I told you so." I started telling people in 2011 to buy ammo while they can get it...all they can get. That's the people that already owned firearms. The people that start off with "I've been thinking about getting a gun," don't get it. Until they're sitting in their car 1 1/2 miles from the gunshow parking lot entrance. Personally, I feel this was all foretold and there is no turning it around. Dear Leader is going out in a poop storm but it won't be by violence. You think he has rock star status among the statists, wait 'til you see his successor. Jon
  20. Do it! Make video on your cell phone. We can start a sticky "Why you should have been broke before the next gumptard shoots a bunch of people!" You'll probably be able to sell the video to "Fence Sitters Gone Wild!" Jon
  21. Still don't have the pink & purple the gals want. And I got SLAMMED today! Multiple people wanting multiple people to get training...that's a good sign that not everyone panic buying is a gumptard. Jon
  22. Local Sportsman's Warehouse has stated that they are now rationing powder and primers. I was a few months off on my predictions, when I told everyone to estimate what you needed for 2 years supplies and then purchase double that by September. I'm a few years off on the second part of the economic crash. Jon
  23. The lower is in! Ssooo...should I paint/coat it prior to assembly with everything else or is it no problem painting/coating when it is together? Jon
  24. The Breitbart guy is on the money! http://www.wnd.com/2013/01/revived-state-law-banishing-d-c-gun-rules/?cat_orig=politics Jon
  25. Hhmmm... Better take 2 308ARs with you then! :hunter: :hornet: Jon
