  1. Yeah baby! I got 15 to break in... Jon
  2. Tom's hell raisin' is contagious. Treated me to a great breakfast this morning! Now I'm irritating the household passin' gas! Jon
  3. These guys at our range (brothers) bought matching .50BMG rifles, some bolt-action design built in Montana I think. The break in is ridiculous IMO, but the builder guarantees them for life if his recommended break in is followed. Jon
  4. Very cool blue! Let me know when you guys are ready to go shooting, I'll get the range lined up. Jon
  5. I clipped my hard bag like that once, just kept zooming along. lol Jon
  6. Good gravy man...that crybaby review on the bottom, after all the raves above it. Gotta love people like that. Remember Edge...no testing it on leaves in the fall! <laughs> Jon
  7. I want to say it is "Made in R.O.K." If anything, those Koreans are no-friggin'-nonsense when it comes to stuff for killing implements. Jon
  8. If it works that is ALWAYS a super-extra-valid reason! <thumbsup> Jon
  9. Dangit MaDuce! No real combat in last night's dream, just stress. House in the middle of nowhere-desert, serving as a trading post of some sort yet apparently abandoned recently. Myself and several other people I don't know are there, discussing the currently on-going zombie apocalypse and listening to radio reports of people being eaten alive. Reports are the zombie hordes are moving our way, so we are planning on bugging out, with a few of us setting up a perimeter just in case estimates on arrival are wrong. Still listening to the radio, politicians are pulling their self-serving crap and it is announced that Jon Kyl and John McCain grant poor humans planet wide, the right to sieze any development outside of the politicos' "protection zone" if they swear an allegiance to Kyl and McCain against the zombie hordes. While this news report is happening, I see one of the guys on perimeter watch in prone position sort of pivoting around on his belly. Initially I think he is getting a better position but then realize he is dead and think he's being picked at/eaten from under the dirt. About this time the earth starts trembling. And someone shouts "The humans are coming!" This is in reference to the Kyl/McCain give away, the trading post apparently a highly sought after "developed area". We started busting ass getting supplies loaded and raring to go when the human tidal wave hit! Think 99%ers on a world scale...topless African tribeswomen with rusty machetes, with little thin yoga mats. The deal is (now we realize) that whatever area they can cover with their mats becomes theirs. Fighting through the human wave with buttstrokes and barrel jabs, breaking through a wall, I woke up as I was running for the RV that served as our mobile command bunker. All in all, a good dream! Jon
  10. Speaking of that Robo, I keep trying to get a photo of the local motorcycle deputies, that now have M-4s attached onto their saddle bags. Definately fills a lacking niche! Jon
  11. <lmao> We had those out at the prison...fun stuff! Regular sized ones, not the abbreviated version Robo has there. Special type of fun shooting 37mm 2" rubber cylinders, 4 and 5 to one load. I'd hate to be on the receiving end of one of them. Teargas is cool...for the long distance ones. The "short range" not so much. Jon
  12. I've seen a $399 on sale Remmy 700 shoot 1/4" groups all day in .308, and plenty of people that spend more and more and more on bells and whistles, and they still can't hit squat. But it is always the fault of the equipment, never the shooter. ::) MaDuce still hasn't said how far he shoots it. Around here lots of people sight in their Carbines at 50yards for javelina. As to the people on Sniper's Hide that "can't do it with $5000 rifles", I'm sure that isn't everyone over there. And from the little I've read over there, most are shooting well over 100 yards. Jon
  13. Bwwaaaaahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!! <laughs> <lmao> Jon
  14. Hey blue109, no problem! Right now we're using Golden Rule, a subsidary of United Health Care. We're planning on shopping soon, as with Obamacare being implemented pricing is going UP$^$^$! Never hurts to check around. We're also planning on checking into a few different small-business co-operatives, that pool small businesses together for better group discounts. I also want to check out the NRA Small Business Alliance...but I'm not holding my breath on that one. Jon
  15. One question: Why have a rifle with a snub-nose gas gun? <laughs> Don't they come in full-length? Jon
  16. Yeah...people say lever-guns aren't accurate too, yet mine all shoot into one ragged hole. Why the skepticism? Jon
  17. COBRA sucks! But you all know that already. We shopped insurance on our own, as at work it was expensive and going up (and the only reason I took el crappo job). We found insurance for all three of us for $180/month. Wifey wanted some extra coverage, that boosted it up to $235 or so. I can only say if you need it SHOP AROUND, ask questions. We went to a website called "Arizona Health Insurance" and it listed every insurance company licensed to sell insurance in Arizona. Well worth a few hours of your time. And DO NOT get sucked into the argument that the only way to afford insurance is through your job. Most employers go through an insurance broker, who works both sides of the system...paid by your employer and paid by the insurance company. Win-win for them. Jon
  18. Cool! Glad to see they offer three colors with each sight. My eyes don't take to the red or amber too well. Jon
  19. That IS ugly! It would be wholly worth it if you can get it to hold a mag AND function like a Slidefire! Jon
  20. Bwwaaaaaaahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!! BURN!! :auto: :laughing4: Jon
  21. Actually a PACT chronograph would be cool too. Jon
  22. Awesome! I was going to buy you three but since you only want one. <laughs> Didn't get any numbers. Won a $1k once on the state lotto, five numbers in a row. Sure as hell can't keep a poker face...don't check your numbers standing in a Circle K on the wrong side of town. Jon
  23. To bad they have their head up their ass on firearms! Jon
  24. Some of the comments below the video said there were clips where this "ghost" girl got punched or kicked. There used to be a show on Fox like 15 years ago that pulled a good ghost prank. Bunch of people in a restaurant built up a legend, then left the guy there alone. Good stuff! Jon
  25. Won Europe and the Pacific! <thumbsup> Jon
