Wrong kind of "lap" bro! <laughs> The kit did get here today. Got class all day tomorrow (12 hour committment for us instructors). Sunday may be good, Monday also! Jon
My first experiences with 2-strokes went sort of like this... Apply throttle. Big whoop. Ride around a little bit getting used to the bike. Start a circuit. Definately need more throttle here...hey, it is speeding up quite a bit more than before HOLY poop BRAKEBRAKEBRAKE!!! Sleepers are awesome! Jon
This took me a minute to read, to get past prejudices admittedly garnered from "right-wing" media and other MSM outlets. What a great idea! Seriously, help someone out and tell the asswipes that took our tax dollars in bailout to screw off. http://wilwheaton.tumblr.com/post/35309150177/the-peoples-bailout Jon
Yeah...and my EO Tech runs on AA batteries, a pack of 20 costs what one AimPoint batter costs at Walgreen's. And when the AAs are dead, I can load them in my 410 for slugs, to give some scum bag an electrifying experience! :hunter: Jon
Ordered, signed for, looked through, splooged on, cleaned up, looked through, slept with, had dark encounters in the dark with, cleaned again. We're in love! Jon
Two-strokes are most definately a little known in this day and age. I remember long ago mocking a buddy for wanting his Dad's 250 Norton two-stroke. At the time he said quite seriously "It's more bike than you can handle. It's a screamer." Just a matter of fact. I want one now. Jon
Stood many a watch in thin clothes with only a pea coat for warmth, in super shitty blowing rain. Amazing the stuff you think about from balls to 0400. Jon
Red pill NoFail. Arizona will gladly welcome you. Judging from the latest "red/blue" map of our nation, I'm within a blue cess pool in a red canyon. Jon
Nope. I'm convinced the politicos have no power, all run from behind the scenes. Why do you think they all campaign on promises never fulfilled? Yet Americans keep voting ® or (D), after a minimum of 40 years being screwed in a bipartisan fashion. Jon
I have two right now, an EO Tech and a Chinese Wan Huang Lo. Another EO Tech is on the way. Zeroing is easy enough but IIRC the dials are backwards from a scope. Mount it far enough from your face you don't get whacked. The beauty of the red dot sights is both eyes open shooting. You can experiment with it too. If you aren't happy with its placement, move it. Jon
Yeah moderators! I agree with those brown noses up there ^^^^ <laughs> Seriously though, they are right. Once membership gets big things change a LOT. Jon
That is because "they" have so successfully for so very long, handed out buckets of labels for people to use as identifiers. Carefully the choices have narrowed, so we are now stuck with the Choice A, scalding enema, or Choice B, a large Q-tip up your urinary tract. What if all the American voting public stuck together next time around and said "We're all Americans! Fix it or DIE!!"? Things would change FAST! Jon
Don't know if it is every location, but Sportsman's Warehouse is having their annual "Customer Appreciation/No Sales Tax" sale. That is a 10% savings here in Tucson! They also have 20-rnd Pmags (5.56) for $8.99. Jon
^^^^^Fact But it is well worth it. You'll find yourself in the store saying "Hhmmm...for that $50 for two boxes of ammo, I can handload about 100 rounds of brass. Well that's the first time. Better get twice as much so I can save more!" <laughs> Jon
Too small. Those jacketed bullets are .311/.312. I've seen cast lead as big as .314 for the Russian rounds. The issue will be leading and inaccuracy with the smaller diameter. Jon
Dremel with a Cratex will fix that right up. One of my instructors, Bad Ass Sensei Master, loves sharp poop. Says "It lets me know it isn't going anywhere." He becomes one with his weapon...don't get in the way. Jon
