  1. You are at THE best source for 308AR information. Learn how the search function works here and I bet you can find what you need, if not someone can answer. It would be difficult for someone to put together an all inclusive list like you want, too many possible combinations.
  2. I tell them to stuff one of the Celox pads into the wound if they can. I am hoping I can score some of the powder packets cheap eventually. The the Chinese version of the RATS, forgot about the S, is real similar but has a stainless buckle instead of aluminum. The cord isn’t quit as stiff as the real deal either, might make getting it back through the loop by yourself on your own limb a little harder, but they are $1.50 so I can hand out a bunch more for my money. I am also looking for a bulk deal on chest seals but figured the bag and duct tape can suffice, I was trained to use the wrapper from the combat gauze for sucking chest wounds.
  3. Welcome from Iowa! Excellent parts to start with!
  4. I have a CAT or a SOF-T in every one of my vehicles, go bags, IFAK's, and range bags. An ankle kit with SOF-T-W is on my Christmas wish list. They are a bit cost prohibitive to start handing out to everyone though and take up more space than my quart baggy kit allows for. I hope I can jump start some minds with these cheap kits and get some people to start taking it serious for themselves.
  5. Wasn't sure what category to put this in but since this relates to something everyone should have in the gear figured this would do. Had an opportunity to buy some Celox gauze packages at a reasonable price so I decided to put together some kits for serious bleed events. I have been giving these to co-workers and family as I put them together. I have about $10-$11 in each kit, cheap compared to what many on the market go for. The Celox is over half the expense. The RAT tourniquets are chinese made versions but I figured including a cheap version was better than not including one at all. I also wanted them to be compact enough that I could actually get people to carry them in there computer bags, book bags, or just keep one in their glove box. I try to give a quick rundown on how to use the stuff when I hand one out, more often than not they look at me like I'm a nut and maybe I am. Contents are 2 ea. 4x4 Celox gauze pads, RAT tourniquet, 2 ea. large surgical gauze pads, surgical gloves, emergency blanket, and 7-8 foot of duct tape. I have a couple dozen cheap medical shears coming, if they work I will include them. Any ideas for something I should add would be great, trying to stay inside the quart size ziplock bag.
  6. Finally got home so I can dip into my Wisconsin Brothers care package Started with a multi hop version of Dare Mighty Things IPA from the Eau Claire Brewing Project DBA The Brewing Projekt. I smell a little citrus, grapefruit came to mind. The flavor, rather flavors are all over the place, every taste I can think of that could be in an IPA seem to be here. None are overbearing, they just flow into each other. Describing it is like catching a greased hog, just when you think you have it it slips away. Hazy with a little sweet and a little bitter. I can't find the ABV rating but after a pint I'm pretty sure it is on the high end. Thank you Brother
  7. Toward the end of the article; Barrel $399.99, barrel nut tool $79.99, bolt $199.99, lower receiver $399.99, parts kit $2999.99. Over $4,000 for a clone. edit: add another $259.99 for the handguard, on sale right now.
  8. Seems like an expensive gimmick to me. That’s a lot of money for a piston AR-15 you put together yourself. No doubt they will sell some but betting there will be some left for a clearance sale in a couple years.
  9. Found the thread, we need to re-title and sticky this somewhere.......
  10. Welcome from Iowa, via Missouri!
  11. There is a thread with BCG dimensions from different makers, I will try to locate it when I get time. Your findings would seem to match what we found. Maybe you could add what you found to the thread.
  12. I couldn’t get signed up without providing my whole SS number. I am in several discount programs for vets and never provided more than my DD214 with SS numbers blacked out. I might hit them up by phone next week when I am home. Couldn’t pass up the word play Brother @sketch , I do appreciate you taking the time to post this ?
  13. I would sign up but they want a social security number, kinda sketchy.......see what I did there
  14. I ran in to an overly tight fit in a Fulton receiver once, they had one in my hands that worked fine by the end of the week. I have found them to be the best fitting CH’s of all I have tried.
  15. Thankfully the memories that distracted me there are not lost.....it would be to expensive recreate them these days, doubt it would be as much fun either.
  16. For me the MechArmor blew away the Raptor. Better fit and finish as well as more to hang on to, that and I prefer the MechArmor style of ambi. Can't beleive I missed them at LaRue, would had one in the last order. Not sure they made the CQB version for 7.62, might have only been for the little brother, I would buy it if I saw it.
  17. Always did love a good self proclaimed whore.....and coke, whores and coke............now what was this thread about????
  18. I love Slip products, for now that is what I recommend people buy. When the lube 98 refers to goes public that will be the one. 1,000+ rounds from a suppressed 300 blackout before I had an issue, some of this was below zero temperatures. It made cleanup a breeze, a little dab will do. The stuff is the schit!
  19. Right now Fulton Armory is the only place I know to get them, seems like there was another mentioned but I don’t recall what it was. I wish they would get back to selling it here myself, I need a few again.
  20. The MBT is worth skipping the Franks. ?
  21. White Oak Armament makes custom gas tubes so I assume they could provide what your looking for. https://www.whiteoakarmament.com/ Punch them into the search function here and you will fins a recent thread with their phone number.
  22. Claymore Scotch Ale from Great Divide Brewing in Denver. Malty sweet aroma, starts with a smooth caramel flavor then the alcohol shows through, finish reminds me of a good scotch whisky, maybe why they call it scotch ale?
  23. I wouldn’t say it is a horrible round but that must be a bad lot, super hot or the bullet not seated correctly possibly causing an over pressure issue. Got any lot numbers?
  24. Read it takes P-mags, not much else for details available, didn’t realize they sold one till now. Looking at pictures and knowing it takes p-mags it wouldn’t surprise me if it was Matrix Aerospace receivers.
  25. Looks great, way to pay it forward!
