  1. SWEET!
  2. https://www.dwilsonmfg.com/store/p44/fuckthezuck.html now if we could just get him to sell us BCG's again, just used my last one.........
  3. D. Wilson, he still does a few gunsmith services but doesn't sell BCG's to the public anymore. Check out his sale in honor of being banned on FB; https://www.dwilsonmfg.com/store/c1/store The Fulton BCG I worked with was very nice, bolt is a dead ringer for the JP high pressure bolt. It headspaced on the Criterion barrel nice and snug.
  4. People do it, not sure it is a good thing but it is done. http://www.gunsholstersandgear.com/2013/02/14/reloading-steel-cases-reload-steel-case-ammo/
  5. Sorry for your loss Brother.
  6. $5,499 and you get one 10 and one 20 round magazine? Guess you do get a patch and a coin............pass.
  7. Worked on my AP M5 barrel nut just like it was made for it, nice and snug fit. That was the standard style and not one of their enhanced versions.
  8. Dikstroker would be proud, you got your toes in the pic ?
  9. Looking forward to a review ?
  10. Check out the Magpul armorers wrench, very well made in my experience, I believe 98 has one as well.
  11. No need for pictures of that event, please
  12. Bite the bullet and go all out; https://jprifles.com/buy.php?item=JPBC-4 BCG
  13. Rupture Fresh Ground Ale by Odell Brewing Co in Ft. Collins CO. Citrusy smell and an up front citrus that goes quickly to DANK and leaves DANK hanging out for a bit. Didn't care for the first couple swallows but it sorta grows on you. Definitely a strong fresh hop flavor, nothing juicy here!
  14. An adjustable gas block may be your best option if you want to fine tune the system for a specific round. Just remember the closer you get to minimum pressure needed the more likely you are to see a malfunction, doubt it would add much life to the brass though, yours actually looks pretty good. The Tubbs flat wire spring runs pretty smooth for me, applies a more even pressure through the whole cycle. He has a low powered spring I run in 300 BO and on a low reciprocating mass 5.56 build, nothing like that for the big boys though.
  15. From what I have seen that Norma cartridge is a bad arse, very close to the .338 Lapua in ballistics but less weight per round. Can't see the US military adding another cartridge to the supply chain but who knows, Sig seems to have someones ear of late.
  16. I have noticed the same scaring and seen a couple changes lessen it, heavier buffer and an adjustable gas block. A heavier carrier gives the case more time to shrink back from the chamber walls making it extract easier. Lowering the gas has a similar effect slowing down extraction. I would imagine loose gas rings would also slow down the gas impulse giving the case more time to extract. Check out these JP gas rings for their take; https://www.jprifles.com/buy.php?item=JPEGR-308
  17. I should have expanded some, thought bounce only caused issues in full auto? The space for the weights is there to spread out the impact time and prevent bounce, heavier weight sees less bounce, got that. Would not a heavier buffer with no space for the weights or solid still bounce some? Ever hear of any documentation on what space is needed for the weights to have the correct delay or movement inside the buffer? Sorry Lane, didn't mean to hijack your thread just trying to get every bit of info I can on the topic from 98, he's busted more than a few urban myths for me!
  18. How much room to move do the weights need, if any? I have read it is there to prevent bolt bounce but that shouldn't be an issue on semi, never hear that issue come up here.
  19. Nice! That rifle is like fiberglass insulation, giving me an itch........
  20. The advertising on this load has caught my attention but the price they ask, most likely due to the hype and advertising, is a bit high.
  21. Hey now, don't think for a minute that Armalite has a thing to do with this, the guy is a douche no matter what he owns A little more patience and you may have gotten some civil and reasoned responses. I use a 308 for home defense with MK319. Not for inside targets but my range cards cover all the approaches to my house, if circumstances require I see no reason not to start defending my home at range.

  23. Great job
  24. Last pair took about 4 weeks.
  25. It was nice to hear they are taking care of the issue without a hassle. Not so good to see that issue on their finish, never seen phosphate rust that easily, even hot blue I did myself holds up better than that!
