Good to hear she shoots fine! I prefer my bipods mounted as far out on the rail as I can get it. Wider platform means more stable platform as a rule. The further back the pivot point the more sensitive the adjustments made for the shot will be. Another explanation quoted from a thread on Snipers Hide; "The benefit of mounting bipod far forward has to do with leverage fine adjustment. Here is an experiment for you to understand the principal. Take a pen in your hand and hold it close to the tip. With your other hand move the back of the pen up, down, side to side. Notice how much movement the tip of the pen has, and how precise you can control it by making small movements. Now, hold the pen further back, lets go at least mid ways so you can really see whats going on here. Now move the back of the pen up, down, side, to side, and observe the tip how little it takes to move the tip around compared to our last configuration. And how hard it would be to make fine adjustments."

JP historically gets high marks on their brakes, doubt they would go backwards but I have no first hand experience with any of their brakes. Looks like there would be a small lip due to the difference in size but other than appearance it shouldn't matter. I would recommend these washers to clock the brake; https://precisionarmament.com/product/accu-washer-system/ And use a small drop of Rocksett on the threads, it is tough thread-locker but can easily be taken off after a soak in water. http://www.flexbar.com/shop/pc/ROCKSETT-4-OZ-p4020.htm

Dorthy's New World Lager from Toppling Goliath Brewing in Decorha Iowa. Swear I can smell banana and that threw me off. Sweet and malty with a touch of a spice, a mild clove flavor in there as well as a touch of citrus. A bit of a bready taste in there as well. Goes down real easy with just a mild bitter on the finish. More of a traditional beer than I have been drinking but SO much more depth than a Budweiser! My wife actually liked this, drank half the can, for her very unusual.

That looks rich, BLACK!

It might be under the rimfire section but it's pretty clear from all the reviews this scope will handle recoil, unless they are all blowing smoke. Parallax is 150 yards unless you custom order another distance. You can get it set to up to 400 yards. https://customshop.leupold.com/configure/fx-ii-ultralight-2-5x20mm/?s=95&f[]=116&r=9&aw=2&ae=2

The reviews look good, 7mm rem. Magnum, one guy put it on a505 Gibbs, numerous reviews with larger caliber stuff. Most places I would call marketing bull but Leupold has a pretty good rep. For 3 ounces I would take the 1x4 but that’s me and my piss pour vision.

Thanks for the decode Brother, still not sure what exactly the question is????????? I can answer the why for me on a shorty 308, cause I had a schit pile of MK 319 ammo made for shorter barrels and .....well, I could.

I don't see it as important at all, as long as it is ejecting everything all the time. Unless you plan on shooting suppressed no need to change the gas block, with the brass in relatively good shape now I would leave it alone.

I have used a chunk of shim stock on the jaw of a slightly oversized wrench and got away with it. We call it farmering around here.

Gunpowder from that Eau Claire WI The Brewing Projekt, Brother, I am getting seriously jealous of people that can regularly get these fantastic beers! This is an IPA with green tea and it works. The tea is noticeable in the aroma for sure. It has a citrus, maybe grapefruit flavor up front, a little sweet but not much, not like some southern sweet tea's I have had. The green tea adds a bit of a dry finish, mild bitterness but with a tea flavor, thick and smooth. Maybe it's a good thing I can't get all this stuff that I want………

Dare Mighty Things from that Eau Claire WI The Brewing Projekt, another beer from that Wisconsin care package. This is an Amarillo hops only version. Still has that fruity aroma and a sweet tropical fruit flavor up front but transitions to a little hoppier flavor with piney dank notes, nothing overpower. Smooth all the way through with a little of that fizzy thing at the finish. Good schit Brother!

New “Pistol” from Big Green
jtallen83 replied to Robocop1051's topic in Firearm Industry News and Gossip
I don't go the SBR route just because of these issues. I travel all the time, there are very few states I cannot bring my AR pistol to. SBR's need to be cleared with ATF before crossing state lines. -

Brownell's is doing some retro parts that work on the modern version. There are some of the original parts that will work on modern rifles, the guts of the system not so much. https://www.brownells.com/parts/AR+xzzx308/index.htm?k=BRN-10&ksubmit=y -
Can you post links, I am not seeing a x39 specific CH on the Geissele or Noveske site? No way will a "x39" CH work in 7.62x51. Noveske has the x51 for $99; https://www.noveske.com/products/noveske-super-badass-charging-handle https://geissele.com/super-charging-handle-schr-7-62.html
