    That's a great line.
  2. Coming from being a drummer in my younger days, that's some OUT-FCUKING-STANDING precision!
  3. You mean like raw cost's of materials? That would probably make sense.
  4. Being the local Armalite pusher, I figured that I'd throw this out. Was just browsing through the (brace yourself everybody) Armalite sight, and noticed that they've given a little bump to the prices of some of thier parts. Not by much, mind you. Not nearly enough to stop an AR-10 (sleep with it.....shower with it.....take it for long romantic walks)junkie like me. Just noticed that things like field re-build kits, firing pin kits, extractors, yata, yata, yata....have gone up by about 5 bucks. Like I said, not enough to make me wince when I order stuff. Just an observation. Who knows.....maybe this means that a bunch of parts are about to start spilling out. HEY! A brother can hope can't he?
  5. Well, I use the AAC Brakes on all of my 10's. No problem with blowback to the shooter. But damn! You don't wanna be sittin directly beside someone running one. Example. My son and I were blasting one morning. On the shooting bench next to us (where we had other rifles sitting), I had a typlical plastic water bottle about a 1/3 full. The bottle was approximately 5 feet away. The blast from the brake kept knocking the bottle over. Yet another reason why I try to take a bench as far away from anybody else that I can. Granted, this was from a 16" carbine. But it wasn't much different through the 20" SASS. The reduction in recoil though is highly noticable.
  6. Cool. The trust's don't take long to get set up. I think mine only took a couple of weeks.
  7. I'm likin that. Looks great.
  8. Well that's half the fun of it. You order a bunch of stuff, and then it starts slowly surprising when the big brown truck rolls up. Hell....I've got stuff on backorder withArmalite, DSA, DSG, delta 3 tactical..........and don't even get me started on the class 3 stuff. You almost have to buy something new every other month. Just so eventually you start getting COOL surprises at least once a month.
  9. The man is on a roll.
  10. Soooooooo....do you actually think that we're not gonna tempt you to spend more (of your money)? I thought you knew how we work around here.
  11. That is one NICE rifle.
  12. in high wind.......on a heaving deck.....in the dark no less probably.
  13. Nice zinger
  14. Not a bad idea. But most parts manufactures usually state whether thier parts are for the Armalite or the SR25/DPMS pattern of rifle.
  15. I was just screwing with you my man. No harm, no foul. Any way you could get some pics up showing the handle installed in the rifle? Just scratching my head on this.
  16. So the rifle will go bang when you want it too.
  17. What? You say something Rene? Magwa. One word.......AAC. Not cheap.....but you'll never be unsatisfied.
  18. Sooooooooooo. Are you striking out everything? As you're saying it? But seriously. Not sure how the charging handle would change the alignment of the takedown pin. Does the upper seem to fit properly against the lower?
  19. Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeppppppppppp!
  20. My son and I are the trustee's on the trust that we had set up. With my daughter as a benefactor. The ex-wife is on her own. It only cost about $600 bucks and was done all through email and phone conversations. It was a reputable guy that my gun pusher.......well....pushes, for people interested in trust's.
  21. Welcome from MD
  22. That's a nice piece of glass.
  23. That's cool! But do you really think that they would allow us to have something like that here in the socialist republic of Maryland? Nope. 20 round mags is all that we can have. Now....you can still buy a belt-fed machine gun, or a sub-gun. But no "hi-cap" mags. Gotta love the brains behind the laws.
  24. You got that thing lookin pretty good.
  25. Cool. That'll work. I put a 2 piece rail on my A2 carbine a couple years ago. They go on quick, and lock down pretty nice. Though you might have to torque down the screws periodically, depending on the round count that you put through it. And to keep the thread official. I've got a 3-day pack and 3 single/dual point slings coming from BDS Tactical.
