Sounds like you have a good set of components working there. That Rainer rail is pretty good. I've one for my SBR build (tip from Edge). The barrel nut comes with it. And since you're using the rail, you don't need a delta ring. I also got one of the raptor handles for the same SBR build. I'll tell you, I'm liking these handles alot. I also use one on my DD M4. They just kinda feel right, when you grab them. And smooth by the way.

All I can say is good luck my man. We're all in the same boat. Even bulk, it seems like $1.00/round is the going rate. 7.62/308 is just scarce as hell it seems like these days.

I was just telling a (friend) co-worker today, how I enjoy putting these things together. I mean, take a bunch of parts.....put them together.....and they go Bang. How can you not like it?

Yeah, it's only fair to spread em around. I played with a BAR that a buddy has. Those things are kick ass. I'd love to get one. But kinda pricey even for me.

Oh yeah. And that's pretty cool too. Who doesn't like a good compensator on a .45?

I can't speak for anybody else. But I put one of these on one of my AR-10 lowers........ and LOVE IT. Is it a little heavy? Yes. Does it stabilize (balance) the weight of the front end? Yes. Is it easily adjustable? Yes. Does it feel good in your hands? YES! I've already planned on using this style of stock on a couple other builds that I have in mind. Just my opinion. For what it's worth.
