For what it's worth. My Armalite's use a mid-length on the 16" barrels and they perform pretty well. Granted, I use adjustable blocks on all of mine.

That's what I thought. Very nice. I've been considering getting one of those. I know that they're pricey, but as we all know, you can't let price scare you away from quality equipment. Especially in the optics department. But, considering that I just picked up my ACOG a couple weeks ago. I'll have to wait a bit.

I love Garand's. I can't speak for anybody else, but mine shoots as smooth as any AR I've got. And it still looks sexy. Not bad for a 70 year old rifle.

Well, if/when you go to aforemetioned supreme source. Be sure to whisper to him that I could use some 10B stripped lowers. Hell, or any other parts for that matter. They don't go bad. They don't have a shelf life. After all, I start to get nevous when I don't have to press down on my parts bin to close the lid. <laughs>
