He went out to get them with his quad and a trailer, somthing happened with the quad and momma wasn't happy, she tore him off the quad and damn near killed him. She ended up taking a leave I remember her being gone 4-5 months. Another crazy think about pigs pigs is a domestic pig will "go Farrell" in a matter of months with their tusks and snout extending and hair growing out when released into the wild

Steve Rinella had a whole podcast on it. he and his hunting partner contracted it when they cooked part of a bear in camp after they shot it. The way I under stand it is you can get it from wild hogs too basically any omnivore/ or carnivore can carry it. Instead of one big gross worms you get millions of little ones that burrow In your muscle tissue

I know I miss it, but I'm fed up with the guy I hunted with for years. He's like a brother to me his dad showed me how to gut my first deer. That's spoiled it for me, trust me I miss the north woods, but it's easier not going. There are a few places down here I could go, but it would be by myself and it just won't be the same.

I just saw this, I went from the power points to those max bonded, patterned very closely. Actually I'm pretty sure I've shot one or the other and they don't very enough for me to mind to drop a deer.

I allways liked the Winchester power point or power max bonded, but the power point has a soft lead tip, I'm thinking that could be your issue. What kinda ammo is he using? Soft tip buy chance? Maybe try a polymer tip or "hollow point" I got some Winchester max bonded that has a hollowed tip on it shoots good not to $$ and drops deer
