We're not here to give half asses/hack type info. Building a gun is a serious matter that needs to be done right and taken seriously. You as a builder need to completely under stand everything for your safety and everyone else's safety around you when you operate your weapon. I wasn't trying to be a dick when I posted that meme to you before, honestly it was keeping me from being a dick. THe guys that have been offering you up info are probably thee smartest guys I know when it comes to AR's and guns in general. The dimple is for lining up the holes.......the other screw will set into the barrel not "just hang there". ??
