Loin from Sam's club cut in half and rubbed it with the rub I used last time 260* till 165 tented and cooled then put in the refrigerator over night sliced on my meat slicer this morning for sandwiches

Idk this product at all but I don't think the cleaner woulda affected the paint to make it glossy I'd think it woulda thinned it out, but most brake clean products are chlorine bassed and evap fast. Did you contact the company? Do they even sell gloss? Maybe there was a packing issue, miss labeled?

Hemi this is the thermometer I was telling you about. Since my smoke controls heat digitally I use both probs for meat, but has two probs "one for meat one for smoker temp" then you can bring the remote read out in the house or garage or gun work station and keep an eye on things.
