  5. Yea he's just sending me the springs and weights, and I watched the video on EPI's YouTube channel. I'm going to build a compression tool outta some threaded rod washers and nuts, wish I could figure out how to pull the primary with out their 40$ bolt aka puller (scratch that just found one on fleabay for have the price) Belts are pricey, shafts U joints and sensors are alot more. Also throwing an extra or used belt in the trunk for a back up is a lot easier then all that other stuff. I like Polaris because their American built (for the most part) I like the ride, and I like how I feel sitting on one. I'm 6'2" 240# on a Polaris I feel like I'm "sitting In it" a bit, three of my friends ride yamaha's my boss has a rincon and they all feel funny to me like you could be bucked at anytime that's me tho.
  6. What kinda bikes ?
  7. Well said sir!! And yes there are 3? Different styles. Ar10 is a brand name like kelnex or vise grip, and that brand is armilite. The others are "DPMS"/SR25 style which seems to be most popular and rock river arms kinda has their own thing going if I remember correctly. I think I'd do wash said and go with the same brand upper. I've got a complete lr 308 DPMS and it's a great gun. Oh and welcome from Wisconsin
  8. Ended up talking to a guy on a Polaris forum I used to frequent, he had build races sleds for 20 years and a lot of ppl on the forum swear by his clutches. Sent him tire size elevation model and normal uses for quad. Needless to say I got a HD clutch kit coming......... F there goes some gun money.

  13. The stock maxxis were wimpy and didn't go thru the snow all that great. Picked up some interco swamp lites. they are alittle soft I'm going to have to take it easy when I plow, but man they go thru the snow like a hot knife thru butter!!! Going to try changing the belt but a clutch upgrade maybe next I slipped the belt a lot more then usual today. We havnt got a big snow storm yet this year but it's snowed 3-4" at a time a lot! The pile of snow in the last picture could easily fill a dump truck

    Grilling

You guys been getting piss pounded down there! I been hoping for a good blizzard up here we get it 2-4" a time kinda like my gf lol With this propane shortage here in the Midwest I haven't fired my grill up in over a month (tanks empty)
  16. Now when you say snow sled do you mean "snow machine" or as us in the Midwest call snow mobiles?? I asked because I was in Montana once and he kept saying snow machine, I though he was talking about the device ski hills use to make snow but he meant snow mobile I didn't know wtf he was talking about for a few min lol
  17. I love smoked trout and salmon, I've heard smoked carp is good I've never had it. I've had it pickled before that's good!!
  18. Haha I own a quad that made me fat just like spoons. Funny thing is all the guys I ride with I used to ride street bikes with now we're all on peddle bikes with helmets ah the joys of getting old
  19. I'd say 90% the scares on my legs are from bikes lol at one time I had a 4 sprocket teeth tattoo'd into the inside of my left calf
  20. Thank you for your input, I had someone else tell me 20-21" also. The guy that's got this bike at the shop he works at rides a 19 (he's a touch shorter then me.) problem with test riding there's 24" of snow on the ground right now.
  21. I've seen 60 never 100?
  22. Hey go hijack someone else's thread!!!!!!
  23. poop I don't even need the snow to melt just waiting for a +25* day to shoot gonna feel like a heat wave I tell you what!
  24. Try this again, last time I bought a bike I was 12 I'm now 32, it was a trek 830 and I rode it this past summer. I want to upgrade but don't want to spend a mint (not yet). I started riding around town last year then dirt single wide trails with a friend (which I loved!) so I'd like a bike I can do both on more dirt trail then anything tho. I'm 6"2' with a 30-32" inseam. The 4900 is a 19.5" frame with 26" wheels and he's also got that mamba (the black bike) in 17.5 with 29" wheels for 600 also. I would be willing to spend a few 100$ more too, I told him that tonight I hear you on a bike being the wrong side not being fun I grew an inch or three since I bought my 830 and I damn near paid for it a few times this past summer
