Well sh!t I don't have a fan so I could probably run one bone stock lol. I'm done canning for awhile, last thing I'll do is canned venison with my left overs. I've done 23 pints of apple sauce, 22 pints of salsa and counting what I sent you 16 pints of peach sauce. Oh and 6 quarts tomatoes. Plus I just got done dehydrating and smoking the 5 gallons of mixed peppers I picked before the first frost.

Your smoker has a fan in it? More like special ordered outta my kitchen :)

Thank you for you input! I did glance at the hog hunter last night, maybe that will be my reading for tonight. Not that buying another scope would be a big deal but I did just buy a Nikon prostaff 3x9-50 last year for my 30-06 so that's an option conventional mount. Thanks again!

In my recent troubles I've looked to replace my 30-06 bolt with a .308 bolt. After talking to my buddy who works for Krieger barrels, he tells me they normally don't touch the actions on their rifles when re barreling and acurizing. Looking towards the 10 FCM Scout, but idk if I'm to fond of the scope mount. Just curious on what you guys had to say

The producer of the WTMJ channel 4 radio shows son was at the TSA check point the moment it happened his agent that was "assisting" him was shot. He said they ran down a corridor together the agent duct in a store while the son(man) crotched in a corner, the shooter confronted him said TSA? And the man said no and the shooter carried on, he stated "the man had a rifle of some kind". They interviewed his this after noon 4ish my time WTMJ is outta milwaukee

Yup I just heard "police stated an assault weapon was used to shoot and kill one TSA agent wounded others then shot at a burger stand" name sounds "foreign". Prolly went crazy after being poked and paraded by the Gestapo one to many times....

Well I jumped the gun alittle it's fixed but not 100%. The pin that holds the latch in won't stay seated in the slot where it's suppose to. Pretty sad that a company such as Remington would put out crap like this. In my searches I've seen the word "throw away" gun used many time, which saddens me. I shot my first deer with this gun, I know I shouldn't expect a lot seeing what I paid for it 10 years ago. I talked to my friend at keiger barrels and he was surprised I got that amount of time. Might try some two part epoxy in that groove at this point I've got little to loose. On the other hand looks like I've got a better reason to buy that savage .308 I was eyeing up the other day
