Every year we do a "sight in" day before deer season. It's a reason to shoot a reason to get together type thing just make sure nothing got knocked around in the past year. Also I wanted to dial my dissy in alil more as I want to shoot some yote's this winter. So we get the dissy dialed in about 10 shots, and we had my friends son with us (9), I ask him Drexel you wanna shoot it? He's like nah, then his dad tells him come on get over here. So he runs 10 or so thru it, had to help him cuz he didn't have enough body to make it cycle everytime. I think I had as much fun watching him shoot as I did shooting it. Then we let the other boy who my buddy kinda mentors shoot he's a freshman in HS, good kid his dads just kinda a not all there I guess? So he finished of the mag and thanked me when he was done. So here's the learning part I pull out the .308 send a few down range and my buddy says, your shooting high right? I'm thinking that's strange so I send a few more down range same thing? He says to me you changed your muzzle break right, said yup. He says I bet that's it does a little thinking tells me go 8 clicks down 6 left, first shot bull second shot bull, ended up pulling the third but still just left of the bull. Guess I never thought about it but he thought maybe because it changes the pressures of the bullet exiting the rifle is why it was off? Put a MI break on it, think it really helped with recoil I ran 20 thru it and shoulder wasn't bothering me like it used too

30-06 , I saw something like that too flyer but it was under warrantee. The plastic part that holds the mag in the gun snapped in half and fell into the glass I found a guy that made some outta alm 29$ shipped I got one on the was hopefully it works

I broke the mag latch today sighting in my rifle, not having much luck on line pretty much butt pads and mags... I've found a few forum threads and read thru them from the sounds of it parts sent very available. I've looked on brownells, midway USA, and numrich and google with no luck. Thanks

Idk I got pulled over for doing well over 60 in a 25 officer pulled me over basically said I know you were going fast, idk how fast I just know it was fast, how's a 10$ seat belt ticket sound! Told him great and he sent me on my way. But as soon as I saw him far far behind I pulled over and waited for him, I knew damn well I was the reason he had his lights on lol Wash I've got a simular story no lambo but a guy on a Ducati came up on me one night on my way home from Milwaukee down 94. I was on my TLR (they called them the one liter duc eatter cuz they were eatting up the 996 duc on the track). Well this guy was on a 999 satin black and sexy (the bike) but I was gonna let him get the best of me. He come up on me flys buy my I drop a gear twist the throttle and chase him down I blew by him at 120-130 easy he starts to persue me this goes on for two three miles as we crest a hill on the other side in on coming traffic is a trooper with a car pulled over, guy on the duc drops off I figure F it I got an exit two miles up ill back road it home lol as if my heart wasn't pumping enough I damn near poop my self when I saw the cherries and berries!!

Agreed tom, that's why I pulled right over last night and I always do when I know I was in the wrong. As soon as the lights pop on I pull over and when the questions asked why I pulled you over I tell them. I've gotten more 10$ tickets over actual moving violation and I think that's the reason, no BS given

I'm sorry I lost it with the super troopers reference:) Only other weird pull over I've had is when my buddy was riding wheelies down I 90 8-10 years ago. the state trooper who was tending to me was a complete jack ass, he seriously challenged me to box it out with him and after 10 min of being screamed at about how I desecrated his sweet hwy. I intrupted him and said excuse me sir but I was following the traffic laws and in my opinion you are acting like a jack ass, if I did my job like you I'd be fired. He took it well and asked if I wanted to talk to his super, I said mater of fact I do! That never happened, the whole time the officer writing my buddy his ticket was in total disbelief.

I don't know/remember the whole story, but yea he scars are nasty! She's big into motorcycle safety and wearing gear, she used to work with an organization called rock the gear, and now teaches MSF courses. Really nice girl tobad it took something like that to wake her up

Agreed plus where I hunt in the northern wi it's 1000's of acres of county first and you never know what your going to come across, bear, wolf cougar, meth lab pot feild, banjos, who knows!

I honestly can't tell you the last time I've gotten pulled over in my personal truck. Tonight I totally rolled a stop sign I front of a deputy in the country. I knew what I did and as soon as his lights came on I pulled over and waited. Pulled out my license and watched him as he came to me, he seriously was the most nervous I've ever seen an officer. He asked if I knew why I was pulled over told him yes, he states that he's going to issue me a 10$ no prof insurance instead of fail to stop, tells me to stay in my truck (also thought that was odd, never been told that). He comes back again seeming nervous, just struck me as odd. So I leave go play two games of kickball, get back in my truck and it dawns on my I haven't been pulled over since I put the "gun control is bullpoopy" "only slaves are disarmed" and "legalize freedom restore the constitution" stickers on my truck. Idk if it was that or what but it was very odd

This is the other guy, there seems to be tension in the northern parts of the state between the Hmong and other sportsman. The Hmong (not saying all) don't like use "sporting" methods some times. I've heard stories of 50 of them coming thru the woods banging pots to drive deer and a few other wild stories. At one time Chai tried playing the race card saying they were yelling racist slander at him. Think it's pretty evident he was in the wrong seeing 3 were shot it the back. Slid 25' down the rd on my arm, had I worn my coat I'd have ended up with a quarter sized rash on my knee. Went back to my buddies parents house and he scrubbed the rash with a dish brush, I had rash from my arm pit to my wrist still have a decent scar from it
