Yep 7mm rocks BUT!!!!!!! only in the 180 and 190 grain bullet weights then they are cruise missiles......I had that dilemma as well I almost built a 7 MM STW with a special reamer just for the big 7mm but the components are very hard to find to load so i went with the 338 that gun Eric will be a real laser beam when you get it tuned can not wait to see it...

you can save yourself a ton of components by just firing 3 of each and make your groups smaller start at 10 off jam then go to 30 then 60 that is three shots each 9 rds total you will know from that where to refine and if you shoot two rounds and you see they are now ging to group don't fire the third round save it for a fouler or barrel warmer.

would it help if you deprimed all cases with a stand alone decapping die? just wonder is the neck sizing ball added to the strain on the brass? interesting glad you did get it figured out.
