  15. yes i have used neck tension mandrels for years a great piece of the puzzle.......i may have left mine in the pins to long i used to love shiny brass i do not even own a tumbler anymore. Do you still size and decap with the decapper ball in the die?

  19. back when I cleaned brass I tried SS pins and I found that they dinged the case mouth and I had to re chamber them have you had this issue? and now days I do no brass prep work at all except annealing and for me it made zero difference in group size.....

  21. the charcoal really is natures filtering material and it works on so much more like if you have a no see um splinter put charcoal on it and cover it with a band aid and it will draw it out, also if your pet swallows poison feed them charcoal... it works like a sponge and soaks it up... it is cool stuff and a great water filter.. cool stuff for a kid to learn ......
  22. I get Ball lids they are they only ones that last IMO anyway i just can not see using a lid to can water the cost just seems to much and you would need cases of jars.....So this is a cool topic.....so do you water bath the water jars or pressure can them water is a living thing .... but if you microwave it it is 100% dead... not sure what pressure canning would do to it . And i guess if you lived in a desert area it might make more sense..but when you live in a area like I do water is everywhere ......
  23. here is some awesome reading and watching with much to do about what calibers are being used for ELR https://www.rifletalks.com/equipment-reviews/338lapua/
  24. I have never done the water BUT do you have to use a lid for every jar of water then that may be a bit excessive since lids are really hard to find and they cost a ton. I think just buying bottled water would be much cheaper then if you are worried about contaminants then filter it later when you need it ...
  25. looking pretty darn good........
