I still love mine and every person who ever fired it loves it too....... I can say for certain the 308 version does NOT work with the sig patrol rifle ...the lower is cut a bit low and the trigger drags the BCG bad just had a buddy with that problem he went to a gessille.. and that solved his problem not sure why the elftman does not work in that rifle...

DING DING DING winner...I know I am not being realistic but I would be on the phone ,internet, to the papers where ever I could go to point out the idiocy of this law, there have been semi autos in the world of hunting for a hundred years, most states that do have a concern about the amount of ammo used simply require a 5 round mag period! if after exhausting the above and not getting any positive action taken on their part I would tell them and the state to go Fuk themselves and I would move to stay and put up with idiots who think like that is just helping their cause.... all MY OPINION..... so grain of salt etc.

I have the exact same rifle , well it is much different now but the guts are the same , I also started with military surplus ammo and used it to break mine in and get some rounds through the gun then I went to 168 match and whoa! whole different world instead of 2 inch groups I started shooting 1 inch groups and one group my best so far that is 1 hole! BUT I am a hunter it is my number one priority so after my eye opening experience with 168 i started shooting Barnes 168TTSX solid copper bullets well I don't ever have to look for another brand 4 elk and 5 deer will attest to that..... you will love the 168 and so will your rifle....

Very good point about farm raised salmon they have holding pens in the ocean these fish carry diseases then pass them on to wild fish that get anywhere close to them , then those fish bring the disease to the hatcheries and well you get the point, I firmly believe the days of commercial fishing for salmon must be ended! if you want a wild fish go catch it otherwise buy farm raised, and all farms must be inland away from oceans NO contact with the ocean should be allowed when farming anything seafood related. here is Idaho we release 10 million smolts a year yes ten MILLION... we get back about 1percent if we are lucky Dams, birds, over populated sea lions and seals, all take their toll on the smolts as well as natural deaths but the young fish are never as strong as their wild brothers and there for have less chance of making it to the ocean. then after two years they come back to their parent waters only to have commercial netters have the first crack at them now this is tax payers dollars giving them a job and robbing the sport dollars from the public which is about 300 times what commercial fisherman spent that goes back to the public... you do the math but keep that farm raised crap away from the ocean. I feel the same about game farming ,deer and elk some escape and then fuk up the wild genetics or pass on diseases... shut all that fake crap down!
