This post above is the truth everyone says how easy BUT you have to have the tools to make it easy..... I did not have them and did not want to spend the money to buy them so I bought a stock DPMS off the shelf for 900.00 and then added what I wanted and threw away what I did not want I could give a rats A$$ about the color I will krylon it anyway when the time comes all that matters is does it shoot with no problems? and is it accurate mine is I have killed 3 elk 4 deer it is scratched up and it looks used JUst right! you do what you want it is your money and your story tell it how you like... good luck...

I remember long time ago I sent in a video to survivor second season Australia the video showed me flint knapping a point then shooting a self bow with the point and making a bow drill fire... I got back a response thank you for the video but you have to many skills and we feel your sddition to the show would make for poor tv or words to that effect.... LMAO they don't want people with sklills they want peop;le who have none so they will suffer and make good tv drama.... I hope this show alone is better than that I have watched some and first they dump you in a rain forest where no one ever lived not even NA's constant rain is a ploy to make good tv.. at the mens expence they want you to fail.... in any event hope you make it plan on a harsh inviroment no matter where the show takes place...

I agree with you 100% we have to get these new young hunters off their asses and out of their treestands and into Appleseed shoots and into the woods to learn real life woods skills not this TV hunting Bull$hit they are getting now! As a child I wanted to go to the woods to learn now a days these kids watch high fence hunting shows and learn that the size of the rack is all that matters, they learn it is ok to shoot a animal and leave it in the woods all night because you are not sure of the hit... total garbage 95% of animals left in the woods will spoil period no wonder people don't like the taste of venison people learning how to hunt from TV do not know how to take care of it!
