sweet rifle so where can this upper be had and what makes it so light ? need a barrel like on the light weight S&W M&P 308 I might just have to build me another upper....... like 6mmx284......
Amazing thread, it baffles me how a 3 grand rifle no matter what it's intended purpose will not do better than 1and 1/2 MOA at 100 yards yet my$ 995.00 DPMS 16 inch carbine shoots 1 hole groups at 100 yards...... that is amazing...
OK give up the goods, Mikedaddy, how much does it weigh?, did you get it operating properly? would be a awesome elk gun.... or wolf, or mule deer, or bear, goat, sheep, but only if it is packable...
Very nice review 98, and very honest as well, I Got this trigger for my 300 blackout as that is the gun I use when on my quad or snowmobile wolf hunting as a short range hunting gun the trigger is excellent as it allows a very quick and accurate 1st shot and follow ups are very on target. I also would love this trigger on my 308 hunting rifle as for long range shots I love a clean break trigger and this trigger has the cleanest break of any I have shot in this platform and I have the Gisselle, the RR nationaal match, and I prefere the elftman for hunting .
I can run this trigger pretty fast (maybe fast for me is not fast ) 3 shot groups are very good with it when shooting them as fast as possible while being still on target, but I do think the Gisselle, ssa-e work in that area a bit better for me I do not have a lot of guns to test with but it seems they are both excellent for the job they do.... MY 2 cents now chime in you Biachis a bunch bought them get out and shoot them..... :)
You guys can have all the fat guns... can not shoot them for beans but I am a surgeon with a 1911... so I quit looking for handguns along time ago...... they make some sexy looking stuff now days but I am sticking to the old school ..... glad you got what you like....
If it is not a coated rod, and if you are not using a chamber guide and cleaning from the breech ONLY you are fooking up..... I would never use a bore snake or any of the rope like cleaners they accumulate grit copper and dirt on them and then you drag that through your bore..... clean only from the breech and use a chamber guide unscrew the jag at the muzzle end and then take the rod out and clean it with a rag rinse and repeat..... do not clean from the muzzle as that wears out your crown and that is the most important part of the barrel....and do not put the brush in and go back and forth one way travel from breech to muzzle....
Damn near spit coffee all over the PC .... <> Well look at that. Magwa broke out some of the old family photos<> Rsquared that is funny as hell LMAO you guys are nuts... I know I fit in with this bunch!!!
98 that is a classic scene.. I had not seen that for 25 years.... awesome
That is a good Idea, I have about 250 rounds with mine and I give it a A+ I am curious to see how others see it and what they think so yes wait for a bit there are quite a few members waiting on this trigger and they should have them and log some time on them real soon....
