  1. Already in a thread a few pages down http://308ar.com/forum/club-house/proud-papa!/ Nice video though. Little girl was brought up right <thumbsup> Would not have to worry about her on the first date if you were her dad <laughs>
  2. Ok after building that one had to do a 300 black to match. Mega billet set to match the MaTen set up. Hopefully get out this week and test them both out.
  3. Yeah one boring game if you ask me.
  4. I don't want to know how much I spent at Brownells during December <dontknow> Tools, Ammo and even Pmags <thumbsup>
  5. I was thinking the same thing when I watched that vid <thumbsup> All I hear from kids these days is Xbox this :cookoo:
  6. If it is strictly a crawler and trailered to the trails just use square tube. It sounds funny but all the Toyota guys around here do that and it works great for them. I spent a few dollars on new ones for my Jeep I built and well ended up tossing the rear one and taking out my fuel pump at the same time :cookoo: ended the day real quick.
  7. Those are nice Billet combos there <thumbsup> Please let us know what comes from the email.
  8. I hit 2 local shops today and was actually surprised to see ARs on the wall. Prices were not to bad for the times. A few 1600 dollar guns but they had a few nice options on them. One store I go to likes to Cerakote the rifles and a lot of the parts. Makes for a sweet looking gun. Before the scare they had a sweet looking Ma Ten that was a burnt bronze color  Had a .556 in there today that had the Lower/Upper combo done along with the rail and buffer tube. It all went real nice with the black accents from the other parts.
  9. Good luck as stated. Cheapest I could find on GB was 60 bucks a mag. Not really a deal at all. I know one guy on there must have bought a bunch as he is selling them in 10 packs and has at least 8 auctions going. I have BO with Brownells but who knows if it will ever go through. Good luck in the search <thumbsup>
  10. 300 BLK <thumbsup> Mega Billet Combo, Spikes BCG, Noveske Barrel, Troy MRF, BD safety selector, Troy mag release and a few other parts. Just need to figure out a scope and am good to go. Have everything else listed in the safe just waiting assembly.
  11. Thanks <thumbsup> It is my first AR build so it was fun. I sold a Maten set a few years ago and kicked my self for doing it. Luckily I got another. Now just need to build my 300 black. I have a Mega billet combo waiting to be mated to the Noveske barrel <thumbsup> Trying to make them both look pretty much the same. To much on gun stuff so crappy cell phone pic <laughs> Who can afford a good camera with the price of gun parts <dontknow>
  12. Well here it is another MaTen quick list of parts. DPMS CBCG, Rainier 16" barrel, Troy MRF rail, MagPul ACS and Nikon M308 scope. Still need to get it out and put a few rounds down range. Should add I am a lefty so went with the BD safety and also a ambi mag release I really like the Troy mag release. And yes Rogers Safety is well Bad Ass <lmao> Hardest part on that one was trying to figure out what selectors worked the best. I think it was 45 mins of switching them around. I got 4 in the kit plus had another kit with 3 of them in it.
  13. Hardly anything left where I am at. I bought a few pounds of Little Gun when I saw it for 300 BLK also some H110 so I can compare. Other than that hardly anything. Really sporadic on primers and bullets. Brass is non existent. I was able to get a 8lb jug of IMR 4895 from a friend for the 308 so should be set there. Also scored 5K of Winchester large rifle from him. All was ordered from Powder Valley on a big buy a few weeks ago. Of course they have nothing now. As for the out of date primers that were mentioned above my friend showed me a package of primers he got years ago from a deceased relative. Package was 1K large rifle primers with a price tag of .79 cents on it :o
  14. What are the BX-25s selling for? I found them locally for 39.99 not great but better than GB <laughs> Let me know if interested and can grab a few if you want and they are still available. USPS would be 6 bucks for priority.
  15. Got an email today from SGammo at 9:45 am it was 10 when I looked at my phone. Clicked the link on my not so smart phone and they had 35 units of 5K rounds in stock. By the time I tried to order they were all gone. Hard to believe in 5 mins they are gone but it has happened to me twice now trying to get 22 ammo.
  16. Yeah no kidding <lmao> You will get raped going to GB. I just sold one to a member on here for face value as I had a spare in case orders did not come through. Figure at todays prices building a gun will not happen <laughs>
  17. Yeah all these sites are overwhelmed right now :cookoo: Sad part is how long it takes to get the product once you order it. Also sucks for me as I am only by the computer at night. I do not have one of those jobs that has use of a computer or a nifty office <laughs>
  18. There is no web site right now. They must be real busy <thumbsup>
  19. I thought ACS got all of Cproducts equipment? I know there was a falling out at Cproducts a few years ago. Also heard ACS sued them and got the equipment and a few other things? I compared a Cproducts mag to a ACS one and they were pretty much exactly the same. These were for a AR chambered in 7.62x39.
  20. Figures I just got another safety selector from them last week <dontknow> I would have rather bought this.
  21. Well hate to say it but my first love was Mopar in the 70s. First car I ever owned was a 69 Charger. Still love them to this day but drive a Ford! Got rid of my 7.3 after 10 years and now have a gasser :cookoo: I really miss blowing black! Hate to think how much I put into that truck <laughs>
  22. Yes and no I ordered a few things <laughs> over the past few weeks. I was really surprised to find out how many things shipped right out. Yes the bigger guys are busy and yes a few smaller shops. But there are a few gems out there <thumbsup> I ordered one night and the next day got a email from UPS with a tracking order on a barrel <thumbsup>
  23. How did it work out? I have heard both good and a lot of bad? Did you talk with anyone or just deal over the net?
  24. Have you ordered from them in the past? All I have read about them is bad things?
  25. You jinxed yourself when I posted about the box o rocks. "My '98 still isn't falling apart. I'm just sayin'... <thumbsup>" Had to post it <thumbsup> Sorry to here it and glad you were able to get it home. At least you were not towed by a Ford <laughs> I would really give you crap then.
