  1. Probably just one or two. A light controllable one, and a heavy, bull barrel one in larger caliber
  2. As an AR10 B model user I am locked into Armalite Fen 2 mags. Which have been flawless.
  3. Whoa! Anger management time! That is crazy!
  4. Well, we are waiting…….

Works great! Thank you. They know their stuff!
  7. Must be dependent on specific bullet types then is the only thing I can figure.

Turned out to be more then I was capable of. So I had to wait in line to get it into a good ( read pricey) fiberglass shop. Just got it back yesterday. Splashing it tomorrow. Fingers crossed everything works like it should.

  10. Okay, I was thinking that the 300 Blk is quite a bit shorter then a 5.56 brass, and if the bullet wasn’t crimped it might push the bullet far enough into the brass that the cam pin might be able to barely reach the cut out, especially if the Blk brass had been sloppily made from 5.56 and cut too short. Can’t say without having some right in front of me to look at and they are in the garage right now. Well like you said whatever, there is more to the story.
  11. Or maybe he doesn’t want to admit he double charged a handload with pistol powder by accident? Another thought: If the 300 Blk wasn’t crimped, it could drive the bullet back into the brass, possibly enough to let the bolt close and increasing pressures dramatically.
  12. Was wondering that. But 300 blk brass are shorter so maybe it can close the bolt. Was it maybe a 5.56 round in a 300Blk? That would not be good either.

  14. Nice! It will be a kickass emplacement rifle. Any thing over 12 pounds is an emplacement rifle for me nowadays.

Tried a different fish fry batter tonight. Supposedly Long John Silver's restaurants recipe. Did my traditional one and the new one. Liked them both though each is different. Silvers is at the top of the pic.
  16. A really nice picture of an Enfield bullpup rifle and some English woman getting ready to pull the trigger.
  17. Don’t know all the background, but a Man’s home is his castle.
  18. Well the local tacticool arbiters of what is the latest and greatest probably won’t ever talk to you again and will pack up and leave when you pull your rifle out of the case, leaving you the nice, quiet range all to yourself. I have done that on my Colt HBAR for almost 30 years. No problem.

Don’t let them on to what they are missing. Mix short rib meat/fat with equal parts chuck roast and grind it up. Best hamburgers of your life.

This. Invest in a good knife. For thin slicing get a Japanese Sushi/Shashimi knife. I dumped my electric meat slicer after I got mine.
  21. Northern lights have been crazy this week.
  22. Had a little problem with my chrono so did not get the MV off the AR10T. Sighted in beautifully on just five shots at 100 yards, however. Some noob was hogging both 185 yard benches with a dozen ammo boxes and six rifles.
  23. Yeah, good stuff. Will be shooting some tomorrow as a control for my reloads. Interestingly enough also in a 16" AR10T.
  24. I will after I make the switch. I will bring my chronograph with when I sight it in. I haven’t charted my latest reloads out of this rifle yet. I am using Remington brass with 41.5gr IMR 4895 with Hornady 168gr ELD-X bullets.
