  1. Ok fist off I did not see this listed anywhere. Second please don't kill me for asking but can a dams upper assay be mated to an armalite lower. I have the armalite but want to go with a longer bull barrel for long range and can't afford s new armalite upper. Can get the dams cheaper.
  2. Like throwing chum in shark infested water, what ever do you mean. Are you implying this site is full of enablers or something.
  3. First one at 48. You are still a spring chicken. I will have my 12th this summer and I am only 50
  4. as a ex back seat jockey i can assure it is the body that limits. i was qualified in the a-4 and its structural limits were 5 negative and 8 positive g's. with the equipment at that time the body could only handle about 4-4.5 negative and 6-7 positive before blackout danger. the new planes are capable of 14-16 g's and pilots still normally cant go over 8-9 with out blackout.
  5. i felt MI was pretty good for weapons but we came in at 33. does not seem right. we do not allow SBR or SBS but can have class 3, that makes no sense.
  6. tonight was great the wife made BBQ pulled pork, home made Alfredo pasta with broccoli, and garlic bread.
  7. i have only tried the 12 yr. my brother-in-law got me to try scotch and i started with jonny walker and worked through chivas to the glen. it is very pricey though.
  8. for drinking crown royal black, for sipping Glenlivet scotch.
  9. actually not Moscow, that is my only gripe is i do not get any time in Moscow for sightseeing. we are going to Yekaterinburg, further east at the base of the Urals.
  10. well guys i am getting ready for my first international trip next Wednesday. if you are inclined to do so please pray for me and my wife to have a safe flight. i do not need prayers for a good time as this will be the trip of my lifetime. the wife was invited to be a speaker at a library conference that is a week long in Russia. her part of the trip is paid for by the Russian consulate. i only have to pay tag along fees. on the return trip we will finally get the honeymoon we never had after 16 years and will be spending a week in Prague. i must say though with the f'ed up political climate in Korea it am a little worried about going abroad. hopefully i can still access this site in Russia so i can keep up, this has become my main news source for political stuff.
  11. war games Goddammit, I'd piss on a spark plug if I thought it'd do any good!

  15. oh my f-ing god that thing is huge.
  16. ok i am a little disheartened, i e-mailed armalite (awesome customer service by the way) and sent my serial # and found out i have a post ban b model ar10. this means i has a pinned and welded muzzle break. i found out the only way to go ff forearm is have the break cut off by a gunsmith or send the rifle to factory to remove the break and have them put the ff forearm on and reattach the break. so i have been looking at the midwest 2 piece rail set that will drop in and give me the pic attach points i want for bipod and foregrip. any other suggestions?
  17. ii will take all 4. not sure what discreet paypal is, but do have a paypal account.
  18. i am also interested if these will fit the b series rifles.
  19. welcome bro.
  20. welcome to the fun.
  21. i to am a vet but strictly peace time. i am however very grateful to be in such distinguished company on this forum. (no sarcasm intended honestly). i thank all for their service and salute you all. <thumbsup>
  22. thanks guys for the input. i just got home from a gun show and saw/handled a t pod on a rifle there, not a bad idea but bad execution. i will go with the vltor or a harris style.
  23. has no one here used this type of grip/bipod? i dont want to spend a c note just to find out it sucks.
  24. i was confused as well when i got mine 2 days ago. it is an ar10a4. but in the config data in another paper the a series rifles will be identified as a10a4cbf or a10sbf, the only 2 a models currently listed, as opposed to 10bf etc. when i posted that link i had to pull mine out and check it. so i am now relegated to factory mags only. oh well i do not need many.
  25. see attached link from armalite tech. definitely a b series 6804_.pdf
