I am interested if anyone has used automotive paint on a upper or the quadrail ?? Been checking out Dupont coatings and might get half pints of red and blue.

I made I batch of 308 loads with Hornady 150gr FMJBT w/cann, CCI 200 primers and 46.5gr of Imr 4064 powder @ 2.788" to 2.795" . I also made a box of 50 Sierra 80grhpbt 1-7" twist 223 bullets with5 different powder amounts and CCI BBR4 primers @ mag length coal.

Vera 5.0 you dumped that dirty girl in 23.8 seconds with a round to clear. It was hot...Very hot ! My upper was steaming with heatwaves after all those mag dumps, then my beta mag dump.

Got a new Lee trimmer/cutter for 10mm piston cartridge and trimmed 59 peices today. It took 25 for it to break in , had to redo the first 20+ because they were .003" to long. I / O chamfering and primed up the cases

Picked up 300 win wsp (white box) and 300 rem 1 1/2 and primed the 9mm and 40s&w we shot in casa grande this Wednesday.

Keep them both... use each deturmin which you like the most, mix and match if necessary the other die will serve a different purpose at a later date. Dies do break a spare is priceless.

Jon did you look at the light weight ar15 in 223 I brought, it had magpul sights a flashlight and cheap Halo optic built on a Plum Crazy lower with an Aero upper and a light weight 16 inch barrel.

It had the fde grip and buttstock and the 24 inch SS bull barrel. Cheap black scope w/red ring.

I cleaned the gun today, spring in the selector was kind of funny so I replaced it.. Did not do anything to the trigger , it is very light 2-3 pounds. Josh was shooting and had a problem so we hadthe gun cleared I held it in my left handby the quad rail with the ejection port facing up... He put 2 rounds in the mag and inserted it in the magwell...I pulled the charging handled back then let it go.. Both rounds fired. We put the gun away after that. The gun has very little recoil , fairly well balanced for a heavy gun. Trigger pull light. Maybe Tom or anyone else who shot it can comment.

Morning guys, sorted the brass and had a gallon pail of 223/556 brass. Pistol calibers 9 , 10 , 40s&w , 45acp. 308 and 6.8spc in small containers. My hand hurts , shoulder has Limbsaver treadmark on it. LOL ! 67 gr of H4350 is no joke in a light weight gun.

Josh when you get to your new station... go to a place called the Bakery. They have great cake . Did that slam fire scare you as much as it did me ? Two 308 rounds in a tenth of a second left handed and side armed. Will fix the trigger on that lower tommorrow.

That was cool but... I was impressed by a 30 round mag dump in 4 seconds. Josh had a mag dump in likd 3 seconds... unreal ! I HAVE A BRUISE ON MY SHOULDER FROM THAT WIN 70 IN 300WSM.
