Made it home , unloaded all my stuff. Now I have to go to work. But the good news is I don't have to clean 5 guns that we didn't shoot. Josh , Larry and Dirk had a good time, hope it was worth their trip. Tom and Jon were also good to see. Mike H.

I assembled an ar15 lower acouple weeks ago and used a longer selector spring to make the selector work properly. If it is too tight you could cut a couple of coils off of the standard lenght selector spring. Or if it rotating freely find a longer spring at a hardware store and use that one.

Isn't the lighting link an NFA item or banned ?

Took the trigger group out of this loiwer and installed the RRA natiioinali match trigger of another gun today. I swapped the 24 inch dpms upper also. The quad rail is loose and I'll have to fix this next . Need glass may have to put a cheap scope on I have in the closet. I have FDE magpul moe grip and buttstock. It will be ready to shoot Wednesday !

Finally got to working on 300 aac barrels. Test fired one round today.brass looked clean with no scratches or lines. Green mountain 16 inch 1=8 twist blanks. Can I get gas port sizes for carbine gas system ?

We are going to get you hooked on the slidefire ... Its like crack , do it once and your hooked !

I made up 50 Sierra Match King's , 80 gr HPBT for 1 - 7 twist barrels with 1x LC brass , CCI BR4 primers. Col was 2.295" to 2.303". That is my mag length. Bullet length 1.080" to 1.089". Ten each at five levels. Used IMR 4064 powder @ 20.8 gr , 21.2 gr , 21.6 gr , 22.0 gr crush, 22.4 gr compressed.

Gun list : Katy , Katrina , Kate , Vera , June , Leda , Mona , 5 , 18 , 24 , 9mm ar , Kahr cw9 , xd40 x2 , Witness Pcarry 10mm. Maybe some one will let me use some carrier weights to diagnose a problem with a 6.8spcII rifle ? I will bring lots of 223 ammo ,mags already loaded. 9mm colt mags loaded. Will bring targets too.

We have to do something next weekend. Wednesday am shoot ok. Need address and directions to the range.

Any opinions on using a 1-12 twist barrel in a 300 whisper/blackout ? I have a source for a bunch of these. Could also do them in 308 win.

I finished trimming , champhering and priming 1720 223/556 brass cases. Mainly LC , PMC , Fed , RP and Win. There were over 1000 military crimps I did with a rcbs tool. Used fed 205 , cci 41 , cci br4 , cci magnum srp and win srp. Now I can start the fun stuff.

Doc, I would only shoot the #1 with minimun or no corrosion onthe brass. All the rest I would pull the bullets and reuse the bullets and power in once fired brass. That is an option for you on what you don't want to shoot.

On the 77gr otm projo's load to mag length and start loads at 90 to 92%. I have been experimenting with benchrest and magnum primers with the heavy 223 bullets. Berger makes very high quality bullets but for a price.

I fondeled one two weeks ago, its a nice gun. Bone stock from the factory, but a nice gun. Enjoy yours !
