Looks like I gotta do that too. I doubt the prices will go down much on ammo, even after the curse wears off. The companies have learned that we are willing to pay these new prices, and like gas, the price remains high and they keep the extra dough.

At those prices? That's not much of a discount. I'd go look for used one on craigslist/armslist/backpage first..... they go for about $350 used.

So technically, if you follow the letter of the law, putting a short barrel on an upper is not against the law. It's against the law if you mate it to a lower receiver... or did I get that wrong? -

ACS here too...becoming a standard for my 5.56 beaters. Tried the ACS-L and didn't like how the QD stuck out due to the smaller side tubes.
