Hey, my good friend is looking for a rail for his dpms ar15. I was hoping maybe someone has a take off. All he wants is to be able to mount a bipod grip (man I hate those) and maybe a light sometimes for coons. So anything that would work and be cheap would be sweet. I will also do trades for a Beachin Tactical sling of your choice, so there you go :-)

Well, a comparison will be a little more difficult for you, as you have a one point, but I just want a general comparison on the construction type. Things like flexibility, comfort, general strength, propensity to twist etc . Dont rush yourself, we are all busy. The sling is a prototype, so the colors aren't the prettiest, and it doesnt have a Beachin tactical tag sewn on, (I ran out!!!), so feel free to use and abuse it! I just shipped it out! :-) Etsy is a website that I LOVE where individual people sell handmade studs, like my sling! When I look for a holster, sling, knife, or just about anything, I always check etsy first :-) in fact, not only did I get my holster and mag pouches from a guy on there from Michigan, I also got our wedding rings on there! :-)

If anyone wants a padded paracord top section, send me a pm. First one to send it to me gets it done free. (that way I can look at the lengths and dimensions of the sling up close and at length) Once I do the first one, I can offer a price for the rest. :-)

I am shipping the sling out today! And I also, and VERY excited about hearing a review and comparison. I have made three of these slings only so far. This prototype was the first, one for a secret person here on the forum, and one for one of my best friends. But I think that this new sling is going to revolutionize my little "business" lol Since my excitement with Etsy, and looking at the competition, I have decided that I can start distributing slings to retailers. I have just purchased professional ziplock bags, and stickers to go on them. Now I just need to get my business license renewed and changed a little bit, and I am going to start contacting retailers! Depending on how people feel about these slings that is :-)

First things first... sorry for the headlights.... Now that we are over that! I have a new sling design to give away! Ill try to keep this short and sweet! The rules- -must be a forum member with over 20 posts in the continental USA (ill do Alaska, Hawaii, or anywhere else if you pay shipping) -must own a Beachin Tactical 2 point sling (my next giveaway will be to someone who doesnt have one of my slings already) -must be willing to compare the new style to the old in a review - aka you HAVE TO USE it!!! There is no timeline, it just has to be done. If you want to do a pay it forward deal, more power to you! Spread it around! Ok, to the specifics. This new sling has my milspec nylon webbing from end to end, which means in an emergency, if you need to use the 550, you still have a sling. Additional benefits include -more flexibility and comfort -lighter weight -easier to make (and I could train employees to do it!) -faster to make Downsides- -I dont like it as much -more expensive to make -not as cool looking I guess I can get over most of the downsides... The sling is also a prototype for a 1.5 point sling. It is a failed prototype. If you want to use it as a one point and give me advice on how to make it better (as a 1.5), please do, but mostly, I want to know how YOU think it compares to my old stuff. On to the photos!!! I apologize for the ugly buckle. Whoever made this as "od green" needs to be back handed and fired. I am glad I got it as a sample... BUT! It is top quality. Winner will be chosen at random from those who qualify.

The Lancer mags that I found were like $45... cough cough. So long as pmags exist, I wont buy any 20 rnd mag for more than $30 or so. I am interested in the brownells mags. I prefer the metal mags. Although they are louder when hit, they are smaller, and I feel that they are quicker to pull out of a mag pouch. Not that i have any mag pouches :/ Its time for some taco pouches!

I actually took that guys advice, and did a prototype sling in that fashion. I was able to get some decent results, which I will make public... TODAY! :-D

I dont believe that i can edit it... I don't like the 550 over nylon strap idea, but I might use it. It is kinda cheap, and it is ugly. If you just want to store a very small amount of 550, there are better ways to do it. But that is how I feel and why I don't make them that way ;-) yet
