Got this guy in the mail last night... Took it to work today since I'm out in the field this week. Been glassing the valley all morning. It's overcast today but so far I'm pretty impressed with the clarity and the light gathering. Seems like it's MUCH higher quality than its $280.00 price tag would indicate. And its FFP w/ a partially illuminated reticle. Looking forward to giving it a full shakedown at the range. <thumbsup>

Two more lowers still pending from SAA... been on order since the 28th but they screwed up getting the FFL info and didn't bother to contact me so that's been sitting forever. Should ship this week. New scope/rings/level gets here tomorrow.... what else.. Been picking up more 7.62x51 ZQI here and there at Walmart (mostly for the brass)

You're spot on brother Tom. This isn't over by a damn sight. Ya know, I raised nine kinds of hell this last time around. Wrote letters to my congressmen, to the ATF, signed petitions, made phone calls.. I'll stand to do the same each and every time any of my rights are accosted. But you're right when you imply that they won't stop until they seize everything. I'm stocking up on lowers now getting "ready for hillary" which is meaningless in the scheme of things but its something I can do for myself in preparation for what I see coming. The bigger point is we must remain vigilant at all times and fight for whats ours. Freedom isn't free... at home or abroad... I once, like many of you swore an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic and that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same.. We must all keep up the good fight and make our voices heard each and every time. There is no room for a "silent majority" anymore. I know, I know... Robo already smacked me around for it!! <lmao> But...I stopped doing the guitar business and its just taking up shop space. Its big! Has a 3' x 4' cutting area Its a great wood cutter and will do soft metals in a pinch, but I want something more compact and higher precision with servo drive vs steppers and an honest to God spindle vs using a router.
