My brother's wife is PISSED at him he told me. He took the shot on this one from INSIDE his kitchen! He said he woke up at dawn and walked into the kitchen to make coffee and when he looked out the window this one was eating out of the ducks food bucket. The shot woke up everyone in the house and he said she yelled at him for an hour for scaring everyone awake!! Lol!! Then he had to get dressed and go out and field dress it in his barn. He said it was a good morning, even after getting his a$$ torn up, and the easiest shot he's ever had, 55 yards he said it measured!! Lol!!

I agree with Tom on this one. The first .223 pistol I built was a 7.5" barrel with an Ares Effin A compensator on it and was INSANELY loud!!! A Novesky Pig sent all the noise out the front and made it livable.

Today I ordered a Magpul 700 Hunter LA stock in FDE to build a custom Remington 700 around. $215 shipped from Brownells was a pretty good deal I thought.

Art, my grandma always soaked squirrels overnight in coconut milk to tenderize them before she fried or cooked them any other way. I've done it that way too and it DOES make a difference. You can use it to remove some of the "gaminess" from other meats too.
