Years ago I ordered some Herters "Fabulous beats all Cartridge case lube". a small 3 oz. bottle costs $3.98 (pricey for 1970s dollars) got it and opened it, it looked like and smelled exactly like Texaco 140 wt. gear lube that I used in an old Chevy 1 ton with a leaky 4 speed box. since then I have been using some of that five gallon of 140Wt. gear grease for case lube and multi -kind of other firearms lube jobs. It still smells awful, but does the job.

Anyone tried to modify the faulty acting retainer pin with a Dremel tool? After checking the one in my LR308 I reckon maybe that might not work too good. Gimme me another bottle of them Smart Pills.

Mobil 1 10W-40 is usually easily found at your average Tractor Supply, Auto Zone or Walmart. a quart goes a long ways if you catch the amount that drips off.

Me too, I sometimes order from them by internet, stuff like time for Tracfone, it is cheaper than the dollar store and is delivered in an email as a number. Just type , type, click, click and it is on the old flipfone. I get the number an hour or less from the rime I order.

Yep, just don't drill all the way thru the barrel ! Run a nice round Amelican gimme wooden type writing pencil in the rifle bore at area of gassing port hole in bore start proper size drilling bit to be drilling, and then when you be seeing not some many wood chips S T O P drilling operations. (Mainly this is how the Chinese give directions)

Get two cans of Wasp and hornet spray, the kind that shoots 25', after sundown and when it is almost dark, they will all be on the nest, have your wife to get on one side of the tractor, you on the other side and at the same time spray the crap out of anywhere you can reach, walk away and leave it untouched for a day, then open it up. I have never had the wasp spray hurt anything. I used to get yellow jackets under my old Craftsman riding mower hood when I left it outside all spring. I get this at Amazon, It is less than $4.00 a can. BTW, I have been told by averyvery good source that she carries a can of this in her car and when someone pulled up to her side of her car in the bad part of Houston and started to talk bad trash to her, she shot a stream of this thru his car window and then she drove off, he didn't follow her either.

Nobody can be 100% sure, but once upon a time I spent the night with a young Sasquash buxon gal (her dad captured me while I was goat hunting) I spent the night with her and when I awoke the next morning, she had left, taking my back pack, but leaving me a raw somewhat roasted goat sammich for breakfast, never have seen hide nor hair of her since.....
