  1. Not being a spoil sport for a very good article on UPPERS, which could be his actual contribution to the accuracy equation, however that is only somewhat less than XX% of an AR15, to be a truly accurate rifle, The lower and other parts along with the proper fitting of the total are also a large part of the equation. just my 2 centavos . . . .
  2. Oh Dear God! Reminds me of my old buddy Lance Cpl. LeRoy Jackson, his story was what I thought was gorse, I won't even tell the details, since I am a Born Again Christian, but Leroy caught a bad case of gonorrhea of the big toe once on a trip to T Town.
  3. If you look at the truck's license plate you might get some idea of the circumstances of how it got there.
  4. More than likely,
  5. I thought we had it pretty well secured to the sky crane with two of them Harbor Freight nylon straps.
  6. Thanks for the reply. By the way you are preaching to the choir,
  7. We still have them out here in Texas.
  8. Amen
  9. Okay smart ass, semper fi!
  10. Smoked ostrich steaks smothered in garlic butter! ....and a hard boiled ostrich egg, deviled ostrich egg anyone? it takes 90 minutes to boil one egg!
  11. Nope, probably will do some grilled veggies and some tatters and giblets gravy and a bushel of cornbread dressing. Anyone want a big drumstick? Maybe I should do the drumsticks like a glazed ham? I have to find out if there is a special big bird season, reckon? Wash should know, he probably has a couple in his freezer.
  12. Back right after WWII you could buy surplus left-hand drill bits and also left-hand electric drills (no such thing those days as a reversable electric drill motor) , we used a lot of allen head screws on perforating bullet guns and they were hard to back out. We used the left-hand drill motors and bits to grip the heads, drill the screws out, then ran a tap to fix the threads in the bullet gun.
  13. Well you know we had a lot of folks decided to raise ostrichs to make cowboy ostrich skin boots and emus back in the 1990s and then gave up and quit. Well some of them can be found in the wild. Them EMUs for their oil Emus are mean suckers but a round of 00 buckshot or a .308 round to the head turns them in to a dead bird. I was thinking maybe a big ass smoker would be plenty big, They don't get real big here in the wild, hogs pretty well keep them on the run,
  14. Just been wondering, Have any of you pellet smoker Dudes ever smoked an ostrich or an emu ?
  15. I'll go along with preferring USPS we have RFD, mailbox is 800 yards away, our Rural mail carrier lives around 4 miles away and he hand delivers all the packages that won't fit in the extra large mailbox, he always get's a nice Xmas present in the box, usually a pair of gloves or a personalized mug (Best Mailman in the World) ect., ect. Now UPS is partnered with USPS for local deliveries. You catch more delivery guys with honey, than vinegar. Just my 2 centavos.
  16. Mustave hit that big flat rock the old milk cow likes to pee on!
  17. Looks like you nailed these guys to the package truck.
  18. I also only want a mechanical combination lock or a locking key

  21. NOW, That is the way to go!
  22. Sometimes I just dick off.
  23. Okay since you put it that way....unless there is any member objections we will let you slide, not out of pity, but because there is possible value in your idea.
