I am not going to say anything good or bad about these guys (Davidson Defense) but I would ask you to research what is posted on this site and also Google Davidson Defense Reviews, then make your own decision.

When I was a Tracked Vehicle mechanic in my last year as a Marine Reserve on active duty in 1964 I was assigned TDY to the Ontos batillion at Pendleton for a major mod, We pulled the GMC 270 C.I engine and replaced it with a Chrysler 318 C.I. V/8 and Allison lockup automatic transmission. I got to help remount the 6 recoilless rifles and sight them at The range. The Ontos had a pair of 3 106 rifles on each side and there were two .50 BMG 10 round semi-automatic spotting rifles with the same trajectory as their paired 106's. The .50BMG rounds were White Phosphorous and impacted and released white smokeThat was a awesome experiance. The back blast from the 106 was unbelievable. The 6 rifles could be dismounted and fired singly from tripods.

With Tom, you have to be careful what you suggest. He may even have a 106 recoilless rifle stashed out in a desert hideout.

Who says he hasn't?, on a small AR frame with a 19 round magazine?

This is a Ruger 10 22 Sporter with sling swivels and cut checkered walnut stock that I have had since bought new around 1976 I have added a late model trigger upgrade. This isn't the exact rifle but exactly the same rifle.

Sounds like 1 3/8" or probably a Metric. If in doubt measure across the flats like you know what you are doing.

Okay, I did that once myself,

Well maybe I have had a few anxious moments kinda like out of mind and body experiences while wearing the green side out garb

Trooper, I see and understand your reasoning there but don't quite connect with falling screaming to certain death whilst also shatting your BVDs, (fuckkedd up rope)to a simple f2f, or f2 chamber a measley.223 round (messed up gas rings, that aren't absolutely a critical part of a midget rifle). LOL BTW, don't take this old fart too seriously.... After all my go to rifle in a SHTF situation is a .3006 home built custom Springfield 1903A3 with a Weaver K4 scope sight!
